I'd be suprized if someone here guessed the right movie....
It wasn't very popular when it came out. People don't like artsy black and white movies with interesting stories.

Pi is one of the most underrated sci-fi films from the past decade.
Brilliant work by Aronofsky.
Requiem for a Dream was even more brutal than Pi, which I didn't think was possible!

I don't exactily think that Pi was very brutal....
my dad saw Requem, then we saw it in the sci-fi section and he freaked, took it to the desk, and said that it should either be in the Drama or Horror section. That must really say something about the movie...
