It's not right from either side, but frankly, Prankster seems to feel he's better than us based on at least two of his recent posts where he specifically makes cracks about Americans.

I've lost respect for him now that I see what he's about.

I wasn't aware that this is his second anti-American post. I guess the fact that none of us engages in nation-bashing on this forum has set any example for him. This kind of crap is all over the internet, to be found on forums everywhere, and I know we don't need it here on TRON-SECTOR.

No problem, I don't care for it either. Read his posts in this forum and you'll see what I mean.

He likes those anti-American jokes and thinks we Americans need to laugh at our shortcomings. Good thing he doesn't have any right? He likes to put it off as something his buddies just passed to him, but a person of any character woud reject such bigotry and correct his friends rather than sharing it with more of the world.

Every country has it's racists, bigots, criminals, poor, rich, middle class, etc. There is no difference other than politics and geography. Remove the politics and act like human beings and the geography becomes less important too.

People like Prankster don't seem to realize that their dislike of our President and the prevailing policies of the US is no excuse for painting us all with the same brush. I certainly don't think all British people are bigots just because he's acting like one. it isn't much, but i deleted my comment. it was a bloody stupid thing to do [on the same levels as the holocaust, in my opinion, that's how bad i feel]i really didn't mean to cause all this ruckus, and if i could turn back the hands of time i would.

Grilled out with my parents yesterday. Had a great 4th of July. It rained and stromed some midday, but that didn't dampen anything. Near nightfall I sat outside and relaxed as you could see and hear fireworks being shot off in the distant by neighbors in town. Felt great to relax after all this running around I've been doing lately. Man, only five days now till my summer course starts.

I did not actually see what Prankster Bit said, but I can say this, as an American. We (the US) have'nt always been perfect. Far from it. There is'nt a country in the world whose government has never made mistakes. Sometimes these mistakes are small, sometimes they are big and cost many lives. The US has, truth be told, made a lot of mistakes of varying sizes. I can say that without feeling unpatriotic. I know it's true.


I know there's a lot of hard feelings around this subject, but I wanted to share my opinoins. Prankster, apology accepted.
