Well I guess its just a cosplay interpretation of the character. Its like me trying to be James Doohan playing Scotty in Star Trek the original series. I would be waddling like Tux the Penguin all over the ship.

Vortex, you are correct.
Boingo, you are also correct, but in a different way.
yes this is Motoko Kusanagi [or someone dressed up like her  ], but this is Motoko Kusanagi from the tv series Ghost in the shell: Stand Alone Complex. she stays a bit more faithful to the manga in the tv series design wise, with the hair length/colour.
so yeah. you're both right, but in different ways.

Lately I have so little time for cosplay it makes me wanna cry. The end of the year at college really sucks... T__T
Still I've managed to make a Hyde (vocalist of the japanese band L'Arc-en-Ciel) cosplay to wear next Saturday at an anime/j-rock/etc. party here in Buenos Aires.

You can see some of the pics of my latest cosplay here.
I cosplayed Hyde (L'arc-en-Ciel) while my friends went as Emiru (Lareine), Kyo (Dir en grey), Mana (Moi dix Mois) and Okaya.
We had a great time, plus we won the first prize on the cosplay contest for the J-Rock group: a PSP. Just couldn't be any better!
