I used to be heavy into the consol games over her when th intellivision was popula back then. But kind of lost interest of it after thy stopped making gams for it. The new game consoles look great and can do a lot mor than what th older consoles did. But personally for me I don't enjoy them at all anymor. Som of th console look great and all that. But they don't appeal to me as thy used to long tim ago. Maybe if they wre to add som kind of functionalitly to them. Like what Mateel tid to do with th intlliision with the small computer console attachmnt to it. Then itmight be a different story to it.

I had a 3DO!! I don't have the console anymore, but I still have all my games in a box somewhere. Road Rash and Street Fighter Turbo were the s**t!!

Kia, Neo Geo's were like the "Holy Grail" of video game-dom in the 90's. There was NO difference between the home games and the arcade games.

Wasn't the Neo-Geo supposed to be basically arcade emulation at home (way before the PC craze and MAME)?

I believe so, yeah. I think that's why the games were so expensive, cuz they WERE the arcade game.

The arcade version of the Neo Geo system (MVS - Multi Video System) was released in 1990 by SNK Corporation. A short while later, the home version of the system was released, which was practically identical to the arcade version. Games for the home system are also identical to their arcade counterparts*, all carts contained both the arcade version and the home version of the game (However many home versions had extra options etc.) Also, most games contain both English and Japanese text, the only exceptions being mostly Mahjong games and the Quiz games which were only ever released in Japan. |

Oh boy... The font looks just like Spiderman! Will we get superpowers if we buy it?
And the controller-Gud Gawd! That design already went thru the 3rd party channels for the ps1, and that didn't last did it?
Change the font on the PS3, change the controller shape, and add 2 buttons, Triangle 2 and Circle 2, so the layout has a traditonal 6 button handle. I'd love to see 2 more buttons for the Xbox 360, but since the reg Xbox is already a fire hazard, I don't care what happens to that console!! I repeat! Add two buttons, but don't move the L's and R's! Xbox already tried that foolishly--Only the Mortal Kombat controllers for their new game have the right setup for those 6 buttons!
