In two hours from now, I'm going to have a job interview for my summer job. I'm nervous like hell right now and hope everythings going to be okay. And this isn't the last interview either. Tommorrow, I have another job interview at 10:00 in the morning.
Although.... I was pretty excited about them before today.
I really hope things go well....

i can sort of say i feel the same way. My mum (mom  ) got a call today to say that she had been hired for a job that she had applied for. we celebrated with champagne

Well.... I'm back and this interview went well too. It was more of a conversation than an interview. They said from the start that they wanted to keep it informal and be a little layed back about it and they were. Although, from that, I discovered that they had lots of applications and resumes come in and they only picked the top three and I am a part of the top three. I only met one other member of the top three and he's also in the same program I am and we both have an equal skill level. I know absolutely nothing about the third guy... actually.... I'm not even sure if he/she's a guy at all.

That's great!
The odds are pretty good, and it sounds like you've got a really good chance at this.
Time to seal the deal.
I wouldn't worry about the other two candidates. Just think about yourself, the position you're going for, and why you want to be a part of it. Your "conversation" interview should have given you a good opportunity to let the interviewers just plain get to know you.
You know - I bet the other two interviewees in the "top three" are not half the TRON fan you are. So I'm sure you've got this in the bag

OKay kamui.exe now repeat after me here. and raise your right hand and place the other hand on thist stack of technical bibles that I have here. Pulling out a very small stack of techie manuals that are about 4-5 inches thick. Now repeat after me. Do you promise to do the tron the whole tron and nothing but tron so swear your users. And I mean that figuratively not liiterally. Don't need the users to get po at us programs here.
If you made it this far like what therealtodd had mentioned there. Just be yourself there in the third interview with them.

Anyways, I haven't heard back yet. I'm supposed to hear back on Friday at the latest. I saw the interviewer a few times in the hallway and he said "Hi" to me so I smiled and said "Hi" back. But I haven't really seen him talk to the other two (Now that I know who they are). So this is going to be interesting.

Well..... today's monday and I just heard back from them. It truns out that I didn't get the job. I placed 2nd out of the three that applied. But the interviewer did say that he was going to put in a recomendation for the other jobs I applied for... despite the fact that he wasn't supposed to do that.

yeah, don't worry about it. there's plenty more fish in the sea [or in this case, jobs]i just realized that I might have to start looking for a something-to-do-in-your-spare-time-at-college job soon, so i'll be there with you [on a smaller, not-so-well-payed, scale]

I hope like hell you're right; otherwise, I don't like the options that I have if I don't have a job.
So far, I'm still in the running for the library position I applied for. Hopefully that doesn't fall through....
