very nice Show!

Yep... I remember it. Back in 1999 I was flying out of LAX on a plane and had John Davidson sitting about 5 seats in front of me. I don't get out to CA very often so maybe those of you who live there have stuff like that happen all the time but I just thought it was SO cool. Anyone know what he's doing these days? I haven't seen him on TV in a very long time.

The original 60's b/w twilight zone was the absolute best. Probably one of the best TV shows ever done.
One show I *DID* like in the 80's was
FRIDAY THE 13TH, the TV SHOW
The show was pretty silly, but also pretty good if you ask me. Something about a knick knock shop whose contents got loosed on the public. I dunno, I enjoyed it but it was somewhat corny. Kind of a pre-cursor to the X-Files, really.
I liked it but it doesn't hold a "special place" in my heart... I doubt I would run out and get the DVD's. |

Misfits of Science OWNED!!! Who'd have known that the tall guy who could shrink would go on to be the Predator and Harry from "Harry & the Hendersons" (both the film and TV show)??!!
I remember Degrassi Jr. High. It was really quite a groundbreaking show, looking back on it. Better than Saved by the Bell, that's for sure!
I really did love the Friday the 13th Series, along with the new Twilight Zone! And let's not forget Tales from the Darkside (which had the creepiest intro music)!
And yes, I remember the Spiral Zone cartoon! Very cool concept and a great action figure line!

I really enjoyed the 80's The Twilight Zone! LOVED that show!
That was on in my I hate anything that is black and white and old phase, so at the time I liked it better than the original 50's show. After my teen years, I loosened up a little and acquired a great admiration for the original series, and many other classic sci-fi shows (I got over my dislike of B&W shows).
And I watched Friday the 13th religiously! The show had some corny elements, but overall I really got in to it. Only it got really weird just before the canceled it... I think one of the actors quit the show or something and then I lost interest in it.
Who remembers Tales from the Darkside? LOVED that show too! Twilight Zone it was not, but it was still a cool show and I watched it each week... because I used to stay up really late back in the day!

Oh, so you're stealing my material, eh Todd?
Do you remember the episode about the girl who rents the room in a house that has a little door in it and there is this creature (who is the rental lady's sister) that lives in it? That episode frickin' ruled!
And with regards to the original Twilight Zone - all of you do yourselves a favor and watch the episode called "An Incident at Owl Creek Bridge". It may be the best thing ever put on black and white television. I won't say anything more than you need to see it!

Oh man - who could forget this show?
This one probably my favorite TV show for the short time it was on the air... two seasons, right?
Poor Ralph never could really fly all that well. He got better as the episodes went by, but the landing always got the best of him.
I remember he'd usually crash land and then say "damn". As a kid, I asked my Dad "how can they swear like that on TV?". Haaaaaaa! Remember when "damn" was still a swear word?
I remember the one episode where the aliens game Ralph another instruction booklet for his super suit. He started reading it, shrunk himself, and then enlarged himself again... only the book remained SMALL! LOL
I had a huge crush on Connie Sellecca back then too.
Remember Maxwell? He was always eating dog biscuits!
Ahh - such a great 80's TV show!
