It just happened to me again, too. This time I had several other IE sessions open at the same time, and I also took several minutes to complete my reply. I wonder if it has something to do with the number of IE sessions open, or perhaps time. Maybe if one takes too long between initiating a post and actually submitting it, something in the TS code trips up? Hmmm.abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

Okay, it's not really a bug per se, but I wondered-
Why is it that it only alerts me to new posts (forum/thread marker changes to the 'spinny disc') if they're made while I'm on the site? Seems like it used to tell me of new posts made when even when I wasn't on the site while they're made...abortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

For me, TRON-Sector has been running better than ever, since Auric's recent updates.
Thanks a bunch, Auric's!
Only two things stand out as issues to me right now.
1) I still get Sector blackouts. Just a few minutes ago, trying to get on The Sector - it would not respond or reload or anything. And soon I ended up with a small picture of people dressed up as medieval knights - looked a lot like a renaissance fair show. It was pretty cool looking actually. I know Auric is in to that, so I imagine it has something to do with one of his other sites.
2) This is very minor, but the "There are a total of X Users and X Conscripts currently online." seems off ever since the update. Actually, it's the Conscript counter that seems a bit on the high end. I think it was probably more accurate before. I'd like to believe there are thousands of people browsing The Sector at any given time span, but I don't think that is the case.
But over all, TRON-Sector has been in much better condition since the recent updates and repairs.

Does the Tron-Sector seem to be "crashing" a lot lately? I am probably on it more than most, but there seems to be a lot of hangs, followed by being logged completely off.
Anyone else notice this?

Yeah, sometimes when I try to get to the sector, I get some server error, or it re-directs me to some weird page, etc. When I try to post a reply I still sometimes get it going to a server error, or back to the home page. But then when I try to reply again, it usually works the second time. I hope everyone still selects all (CTRL+A) and copies (CTRL+C) what they type so they don't lose what they were going to post if the system hiccups. If you lose what you typed, just reply again and CTRL+V paste what you had copied.

Me too. I've been experiencing a lot of TRON-Sector blackouts lately. Either posting or just browsing, I have trouble getting the next page to load. It's been happening VERY frequently to me in the last couple of weeks too. Very irritating when trying to enjoy The Sector.
And I've had the redirect thing where I end up on some seemingly random IanStorm page.

Thats strange... I've not ran into any issues except for one about a few months ago?
I'm using FireFox 1.5 with script protection, but I don't know if that has anything to do with it...

Yep, it's been doing it for months for me. I just roll with the punches, hoping it'll be fixed some day I use Internet Explorer. I have Opera installed, but don't like using it.

I like to control-c my posts before adding messages. I've had my share of I/O error, and have adjusted by doing that really nicely.

Was it just me, or was this site unavailable for most of yesterday and the better part of today?
