Did anyone else here see the new Star Wars trailer during The O.C. last night?
HOLY SH*T!!!!
It absolutely blew me away! Unbelievably dark and moody - very creepy!
This may be the film we've been waiting for out of this trilogy of prequels!
If you saw it, what did you think? Are you more psyched than ever to see it than you were before?

A) Is the trailer available anywhere online?
and
B) What did you think of the first two films? (meaning the last two. I mean ep.'s 1 and 2. )

I saw a trailer for Ep 3 tonight at the theater when I saw "Robots." Man, Lucas has poured every ounce of special effects gravey onto this monster sized biscute of a movie. My goodness, he's wanting to go out with a galactic BANG, course can't blame him. Heck, the film reel snapped under the sheer weight of the special effects. That's no joke either, the film reel snapped during the Ep3 trailer. And yes, that was the very thing that crossed my mind when it snapped. It was a much needed chuckel after a stressful week.
Ep3 looks like it's going to rock.

Well, the prequels are a mixed bag for me, a die-hard Star Wars fan.
There are things I love about Episode I (Darth Maul, Jedis haxx0ring droids, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, the Duel of the Fates) but there are many things I hate about it (Jar-Jar, Anakin as a whiny kid, Jar-Jar, Anakin "Yahoo"ing as he destroys the Trade Federation Base Ship, Jar-Jar). If Darth Maul and Jar-Jar could switch screen time, it'd have been a killer film.
Then there's Episode II, which aside from the terrible love story and Hayden's stilted acting, I FRICKIN' LOVED!!!! So much cool stuff in that film!
So, Episode III has me super-psyched, as each film has gotten better than the previous. This being said, Episode III should own us all!

Damn, that movie-list.net link is dead already. But I found a link that worked for me:
http://www.taintedwings.com/episode3trailer.mov
Leave it to crafty people on the net to get a hold of the trailer early.
Well, I have to say . . . George may finally deliver a decent Star Wars prequel!

HO MY GOD!
I saw the Ep. III Trailer...
Lucas will fulfill your promise, The Episode most aggressive and dark of the Star Wars saga.
I am surprised with the Digital Production, everything has a great visual quality, the special effects in Mustapha (The Lava´s Planet) are incredibles.
I did not have words when I listened the Plapatine's scream... really Creepy!!!
Today in the meeting of Star Wars Fan Club Puebla, we analyze the Trailer and compare the spoilers.
Many important things in the Trailer, And many spoliers were real!!!:
The Palpatine's arrest by the Master Jedis...!!!
Kid Fisto was afraid...!!!
The Jedi´s Temple destroyed!!
Anakin he is not nominated Jedi Master!!!
Yoda Vs. Palpatine in the Senate!!!
The Lucas's participation inside the movie (The Baron Papanoida)
Obi-Wan crying for the Anakin´s destruction!!!!
I think that Ep. III will are a real movie for Star Wars fans

I think the only reason I will see this is to settle an argument my friend and I used to have a long time ago about how Darth Vader became Darth Vader. That would be an interesting thing to see...
When are they going to make the new episodes for the newest Dune Miniseries?
That's what I wanna know!

I think God Emperor of Dune would be very very tough to make into an "interesting" miniseries. Most of that book was a lot of the theory behind Leto's Rule and what he had become to himself and his people.
I'm just not sure how that would translate into a miniseries.
And to be honest... they butchered Dune Messiah, and Children Of Dune. I guess the first one was OK, except I like David Lynch's imagining of it better.

With regards to Dune, I'd rather see the prequel books made as I think they would translate to screen better.
House Atreides, House Harkonnen and House Corrino were all fine books. I thoroughly enjoyed them!
And The Butlerian Jihad and The Machine Crusade were excellent as well! I can't wait for The Battle of Corrin to come out in trade!
These books have Frank Herbert's flavor - with Kevin J. Anderson and Brian Herbert's takes on that universe BEFORE we came to discover it in the original Dune!
With regards to the TV miniseries, I really didn't care for the first Dune. Mainly because of the casting and production design. Yes, they got the Bene Gesserit fighting styles/Wierding Way down perfect and the Stillsuits were spot on what they should be. The Saudakar were laughable at best (and for the galaxy's most feared fighting force, they looked like purple pastry chefs). The overall thing just didn't work.
I liked the second one better, but I thought Dune Messiah got the short end of the stick.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

That House Harkhonen book bored me... (And they used to be my favorite, too.)
I tried reading the House Atreties book too, but it bored me as well...

I lost interest after God Emperor of Dune. I tried Dune Heretic but it got WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too esoteric for me.

Did anyone catch the George Lucas interview on 60 Minutes tonight?
I am torn by respect for a man so rich and powerful that he can do whatever he wants, creatively, and also someone who is blinded by that power into thinking that he doesn't need advice or help.
Also... anyone play Knights Of The Old Republic? I am playing that now and I am really enjoying the storyline. It's a great addition to the Star Wars mythos.

I like so much the Star Wars Video Games.
Knights Of The Old Republic ( I and II ) is super cool!
and now Star Wars Battlefront is very, very nice!
The Star Wars´s Expanded Universe is cool, but I feel a special feeling for "Shadows Of The Empire" because with this interactive proyect Star Wars returned
Maybe the most Expanded Universe emblematic characters are: (he,he,he well, for me)
Palpatine (Dark Empire)
Lord Darth Vader (everytime in everywhere!)
Grand Admiral Thrawn
Prince Xizor
Did you know that a character of the Expanded Universe will appear in the Episode III?
