New Uses for Next-Gen Consoles

on Wednesday, March, 02, 2005 4:57 PM
I have Tron 2.0 and various other 3d video card required games that require the use of video cards.

Various things can make the games run faster, like more ram, and better video cards, But...

It gets tiresome trying to up all the system specs just for the games...

I was surfing the net earlier on one of the several PC's available at my college, and I was using-ready? A Pentium pc. No 3-4, what have you. Pentium.

Many people like the fact that they can get PC's that only have a few things slowed down for them, but still run along at heafty speeds. And many know these computers aren't quite what they wanted. But I think there should be the ability to add your Next Gen console up to the PC to stave off/lengthen how long the need for a new computer is.

I think Next Gen Consoles should have the capability of hooking up to a computer, and adding:

More Videocard power, or a videocard itself-
More processor speed-
an additional CD drive-
More USB ports (for those consoles that have them)

And what have you. There, shouldn't that be a choice for those who want good cake and the ability to eat it too??

I rest my case.

Those that are PC based, like the X-Box.. sure. But I wouldnt think Sony or Nintendo would buy into that.
