Today a little package has arrived on my apartment doorstep. This carboard container decorated with the standard shipping stickers and stamps contains an magical item inside that is bound to change my life. Oh the wonders this thing will bring. I'm excited already. On this box marked in black letters is the words DSL.

Well, can't get on the grid from my Apartment Todd since my laptop can't support 2.0, but can if I'm back home. Got DSL on home computer. You missed a good round of cycles a while back. There was a tron-sector mini gathering on the game grid.
Yeah Parnkster Bit, that's what Pandora's Box is. I titled the thread this cause the DSL modem is a little black box that does act as pandora's box to some users. Just as Todd termed it, "you've opened up your own Pandora's Box!" Too much of a good thing can be a bad thing if your not careful. Plus it was the first thing that went through my mind as I opened the box thinking of the possibilites DSL will bring me.

Once you go high speed, you'll never go back. Which means if I can't ever afford to HAVE high speed, I will probably not even bother getting online. :P

I think the only other time I had to go back to dial up over here was to fax something from my computer over here. That was the only thing I had to do with dialup over hre.
