I was just in Sacramento, CA and saw "Aliens of the Deep in 3-D" at the IMAX theater there. Very cool movie! Made by James Cameron. I'd highly recommend it to those with an open mind and a fascination about the deep ocean and outer space. Also, considering the recent "3-D" conversations we've had here, those who like 3-D will also likely enjoy it, as well. The fact that it was in 3-D was awesome.

Don't view the videos or read too much about it though. I'm of the belief that the less that's known about a movie, the better - usually. If it sounds interesting and you have it nearby, just go to it

Yayy! You get to see it?? They seem to only be playing it in certain IMAX theaters for now. I wish they were playing it back home here at our IMAX, but they're not  Hopefully it will be coming soon! Let us know if you like it, so there is more than just my review here. That way we could be the "Ebert and Roeper" for this film here. But we'd instead be Traahn and Tori, of course. I was just down in Phoenix, AZ and saw this again Loved it again.
I hear it's pretty controversial in the Southeastern U.S. though... as the film refers to "evolution" and ponders at the thought of life on other planets.

Arg... This sounds like something I'd really enjoy. Thing is there isn't a single IMAX theatre in the entire state of Mississippi.
It just doesn't seem right to drive to see a movie where you'll spend more time driving to the theatre then you will watching the movie.
