It's out???? Sweet!!! I might be getting an XBox soon, too. We shall see. Have fun playing it everyone! I hope more people go online, sonictails. I know Halo2 is big right now, as is World of Warcraft. Ugh, stupid competition. I live in Regina, Canada (yo redrain85!) and I got my copy about a week ago. We have a number of EB Games stores in town and they all got in about 3 to 4 copies. Our local Toys R' Us as well got in 4 copies. Nice to see it is finaly hitting store shelves after the whole HALO 2 explosion.
I noticed that Wal-Mart finaly got in copies of TRON 2.0 for the GBA. Again, EB Games and Toy's R Us locations were the first to get the game as well.

Once I have an account, I'll post a thread for X-Box Live Gamer Tags. That way we'll all know who the others are and we can meet up for some games online!
If anyone has it, can you tell me how the X-Box Live stuff is? Halo 2 is outstanding, so I hope that Tron 2.0 is even half as cool as it is!

Looks like there are 3 downloads for the X-Box Tron 2.0 online.
New colors for characters plus 2 new levels.

Well, I finally bought a copy of Killer App for the Xbox the other day. It was like finding a needle in a haystack. Finally found ONE copy at a local EB Games.
Since the old saying goes "if you don't have anything good to say, then don't say it" . . . I will keep my mouth shut about what I think of this version. Let's just say I'm glad I didn't pay the original asking price for it, back when it first came out.

I'm sorry to hear that Redrain. So the PC version is better, eh? I kind've figured that would be the case, since XBOX is several years old now (dated hardware). Plus, I bet the Halo-like helmets sure added to your experience

Nope I don't got it either. Since I don't have an XBox to play with over here. THe only tron 2.0 game that I have is the Demo over here and I'm still trying to look over here for the retail version of Tron 20 so I can pick it up with my next pay check coming this week. So I can play the full game and the other ones that are in the demo.

Excellent, Compucore I think you'll like all the Tron environments they came up with. They're all very cool to see and run around in.

Well so far I like it a lot over here. The environment is very nice. even on a PIII 500MHZ. with 192 megs of ram. Its not that bad at all. It works nicely over here even on this system. I have it running on a bare bone windows 2000 pro environment. with a FX5200 from geoforce. So so far I can't complain about it over here. Still; need to tweak the memory. on it though. The Motherboard is just being finiky with the memory stick that I had bought for it. THe board doesn't like single side 256 megs memory sticks. I should have taken a look into that before I actually bought the stick of memory.

Hmm. I could've swore I replied to your post earlier, but it looks like it didn't go through. Basically I was asking if you were able to turn the glow effects on? I remember it being tricky to figure out how to get them on when I tried. I think in the video settings you crank everything to high to get the glow efx, but I can't remember for sure. From what I understand, the reason it is on Xbox and not other systems is mainly because of the glow. So if it doesn't work then....
I just don't see why they haven't made a version for PS2 and GameCube yet. TWO things I don't really care about them including are: the glow and multiplayer. I don't have an Xbox and I sure can't afford one. The only reason I would buy one would be to play Tron 2.0. My PC is too old to run it, so that's out. Too expensive to upgrade. I just don't understand why they can't port it to other systems... Even if people DID want multiplayer, the PS2 has a modem now. *shrugs*

Trigger. You know what. I just got another system to run with the bare minimum for the game tron over here. I'm still using my old PII 233 over ehre for my main work. And anpother regular workstation acting as my file server over here. I don't have the money either for a hole lot of upgrades myself over here. But I somehow manage tog et by. with some other tech people that threw some of theor older systems out there.

Personally, I've been enjoying Tron 2.0 on the X-Box! I think it's graphically appealing, moves very well and has a wonderful sound design (including soundtrack).
But, more than anything else, it ROCKS on X-Box Live! Multiplayer Light Cycle races are TOO COOL!!!
And I've already had content to download - two multi-player arenas and new colors for characters (I can pick from red, blue, yellow and green, I believe).
And I've met some cool people online.
Do we want to try to create a night a week that we can meet on X-Box Live to play with fellow Tron-Sector friends? I'm all for it!
