You mean like a patch or an add on to the programs. Yeah I have considered that too.
How come the cycle trails are only there wihile on the grid?
Just think of what it would be like with trails NOT only on the grid.

And by the way in the scene where Sark is leaving the carrier and taking all the old programs to the MCP and it gets to a part where you see dumont a gaurd and another old guy.

I assumed the jet walls were a function of the cycles whilst on the grid. Same with the right angle turns and such. That its intrinsic to the lightcycle grid and not necessarily the cycles.
