That's a secret! We're not ready to tell you yet! Perhaps you'll find out more in future TRON games?

OKay it was me in the hiding there. No seriously. I don't even know myself. Since I don't have the game over here. Would be interesting to know when the time is right. I know Davetron and the others are waiting for the right time to tell us Right Davetron.

Probably was Ed, considering the MCP didn't have fingers, hehe, well actually, hmmm in his defeated form, he had a pair of hands typing away.
I guess it could be the MCP.
Anywho, it was probably a bad idea to leave the ending like that, hoping that Tron was gonna be profitable enough to merit a third game.
If they don't release one, they best release a patch for Tron 2.0 giving the game a decent ending.

The strategy guide for Tron 2.0 mentions that Dillinger went into hiding. While not a bright programmer, though he did make the original MCP, Dillinger knows the world of business. Likely he worked behind the scenes to build Fcon and monitored Encom, waiting for the day to strike.
Flynn retiring from Encom helped provide the opportunity for Fcon to take over since I highly doubt Flynn would have allowed it to occur.
The Ceo made a comment in an email that he has been waiting 20 years for this moment.....
Its Dillinger.

It is possible that it could be the MCP, but the problem with that is the bad guy relies on people to do the job. We all remember the line
MCP: "This is what I get for using humans"
He hated the users so if it was the MCP I think he would have took over Encom from inside the computers. Now we know that he was defeated but I am sure he was smart enough to back himself up at a different location. I mean I would back myself up if I was black mailing a guy who could have easily pulled the power plug on me, or press the format button lol.
Now the problem with Dillenger is that if he went into hiding he couldnt really start up a company. Unless he took on a new identity even then though it would be rather hard to start one. Unless to bought his way into Fcon, then I am sure it would be possible.
I would say the MCP is probably a more likely candidate for the bad guy, we all know how obsessed he was with gathering information and using it to control the system. Which sorta explains the use of the data wraiths. And the ship in the final levels of the game and seeing the Recodnizers used as they once were just screems to me Master Control Program.
It is possible that the MCP knew he wouldnt be powerful enough to take on MA3A so he "USES" the users to get MA3A and extract the correction algorythems once he gets a few users inside to make him bigger he would just shove them on the game grid or spit them back out of the computer world.
Anyway thats just my view on the topic. Lets just hope that they do actually finnish the game off or atleast make a short animated movie or hey even a book! just to finnish off the story. But the chances of that ever happening? you got more luck asking a BIT to say something else appart from YES and NO.

P.S. It's gotta be Dillinger.

I don't think that dillinger would have been the FCON CEO. When I have played the game out through till the end and try to listen to the movie. For play back of Dillingers voice. I don't think it would have been Dillinger directly. Maybe indirectly and using someone else as a pawn for the whole thing. But thats just an idea.

What's more fun than waking the dead?
Think about this: Dillinger was old 20 years ago. Imagine how old he'd be now. I'm not using it as proof of truth or denile, I'm just saying that's something to think about.
Maybe Ed's son?
