It depends on what happened to him after the movie. Was he completely ruined? Did he do any prison time? Was he not able to work in the software industry ever again? (Hence the alter ego behind the camera). Those things can warp someone and cause them to seek retribution.

Hey Boingo maybe it's your Agent Orange from that other thread you linked in 'Rematerialization'.
Perhaps he did not like being ripped out of the electronic world and reconstructed in ours knowing his fate would end with a knife or juicer.

I'm sure he was completely ruined. But why would he really need EnCom if he has FCon? Why would he be after digitizing technology specifically? He would have no idea of Flynn's adventures and would likely dismiss them as fantasy anyway. Why would he need to hide behind a camera if he already has the power for a corporate takeover? Why would he seek retribution against anyone in the game? I suppose he might have figured out Alan's involvement, but it was Flynn who assumed his position.
Unfortunately, this was an aspect introduced at the end of the game without a terrible amount of forethought. There was not a definitive answer planned so anything we determine will be a square fit into a round hole. Dillinger, Sark or the MCP are the only possibilities. Of the three, the MCP is probably the best fit, but that too carries it's story conflicts.abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

It's been a while since I played Tron 2.0 so I'm sorry if I trample over stuff in the game plot... but... I would think if it was him it would be purely revenge motivated. Maybe he just wants to drive Encom into the ground and ruin everyone else in the process? Maybe he's gone mad.

Maybe the name Dillinger has been sullied and he's just working the puppets from behind the scenes.

Good point, unless his jealousy and rage has caused him to direct his actions towards the remaining bits of Encom left. Maybe he got wind that Tron was the one to defeat the MCP and hates Alan for it.

Agreed. It's fun to make stuff up though

Everything points to (the GBA version of the game in particular) Dillinger being the CEO of fCon. Though I would personally prefer it being the MCP pulling the strings, myself.
I just thank the users that the CEO wasn't revealed to be Flynn, which was apparently under consideration at one point.
If it is Dillinger, I too would think his motivation would strictly be revenge. As the owner of fCon, he didn't really need Encom. But why not take it over and destroy/absorb it, if he can?

I honestly believe that Flynn dropped out of the software scene, changed his name to "The Dude" and now spends his days bowling and drinking White Russians.

Yeah - me too. I remember DaveTRON talking about how that was on the table at one point. I can't believe such idiots who don't even understand TRON (not a single bit ) were actually paid to work on .
