Please tell me you have some proof this was done with Photoshop. This is probobably the most disturbing thing I've read in a very long time. Anyone remember the stories about people that were having themselves shot just so they could have a gun shot scar? When I saw that story years ago I thought that was about the worst thing anyone could think up. Boy was I ignorant...

I don't have "proof", since Photoshoppery can be very well done, but I do know that limb grafting is a very exacting and time-consuming and oftentimes unsuccessful process. They have to match blood vessels and nerves and everything else. The operation takes many many long and grueling hours to do. Like Scuzzy said. Just look at the number of "transplants" that go wrong in fully staffed operating rooms, with a team of medical professionals on hand. And most of those aren't as complex as grafting an entire arm to a part of the body where it doesn't belong!
