OKay,
I've seen a lot of piercing and all that on the body going from the head all the way down to the toes and all that. ANd tattoos as well in general. But never before have I've seen something like this. Why in the netherlands wouls someone want to do this?? There has to be an explainnation as to why. Is it a fad thing?? I'm going to have to read up on that article there.

I've never understood Body Modification. Earrings (belly-button rings, and evern noserings I can understand) but this kind of stuff just seems to me to be being outrageous for the sake of being outrageous. I dunno, maybe I'm just not "hip" and/or "with it" (as my aged parents would say...sheesh, I'm turning into my parents???)
Anyway, it seems like a lot of pain and money to have something that's going to cause a heckova lot of complications when one gets older (I can't wait to see some of these people in their 60's).

What the?! That's nuts. People will do anything for attention. Where does "personal expression" end and mutilation begin? Just wait until the day comes that they can easily replace limbs and other stuff. We'll see people with all sorts of mechanical parts where flesh and blood used to be, all in the name of personal expression. I can see modifying your car, but not your body!

I just don't get it....
I have 5 tattoos, but if in a pair of long pants and a normal t-shirt you'd never know I had any. I didn't ever want to have to regret getting them.
I don't have anything but my ear peirced, but I never wear it any more. That's the thing about (most) body peircing, it can be taken out with just a minor scar.
