Got a question. Right now in front of me sits a brand new fresh packaged nVIDA GeFORCE FX 5200.

250MHz GPU
128MB AGP

Was wondering if this babey's any good? This is a little bit of a new area for me.

I hope to be basking in the 2.0 goodness soon. I've waited so long to play the game. Just wanted some input before I rip the packaging apart just to be safe.

That will run tron like a champ. Its the bottem end of the fx series but its still a really nice card. Also its VERY oc'able. Basicly the card can do 81 mil vert a sec where as a top of the line cards can do around 340 mil. It seems like a huge difference, but you wont really notice in tron 2.0. Since the FX series is dx 9 you can turn all the eye candy on. Hope to see you on the grind soon!order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

It's nothing to get worked up over - and it won't run Tron at a decent frame rate with eye candy at any high resolution.

ATI 9600 Pro is your card. Or and "old" 9500 Pro if you can find one.

Mobius,
Unfortunately, the almost best video cards out there are pretty expensive. Best to make do with what you can. ._.;

How is it a GeForce FX 5200 would not be able to run TRON 2.0 with all the eye candy turned on, at an acceptable framerate and at a relatively high resolution?

My old GeForce 3 (plain vanilla, not the "Ti" model) runs the game at 1024x768 with all the eye candy turned on, and I don't notice any performance issues. A GeForce FX 5200 has got to be able to do better than my GeForce 3!

Nice card Sketch! Enjoy!where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

I personally think as a few others do. THat Sketch has made a good choice in video card for his computer system. And not to sound insulting either. For the price that he paid for it I think its good. Unless you have the money for something really high end like from 3-d labs which can easly go for $3000-5000. Just for a high end video card... THen spend on those cannot afford it.

Well, It really depends on the rest of his computer as well, I belive sketch has a decent computer he posted about it earlier and i cant seem to find the specs for it. Either way, tron 2.0 isint *that* demanding of a game. Yes it a dx9 title but it is in no way pushing dx9 to its limits. A 5200 would even be a great card for the more demanding titles such as HL2 or doom 3. The 5200 might not be able to pull max resolution with all the eye candy on and still keep a decent frame rate, but I'm betting its comes darn close. Again GREAT value for a card. I'm still a radeon fan, but the fx series is nice...

plus just oc it, you can give the 9600 a run for its money with a decent cooler on the card. HA! my card is still faster then the latest radeon or fx series and its 6 months old! And its air cooled!

*yells over his fans* oc'ing is definitly THE best bang for the buck!order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pillwhere to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

Kmon I was talking with him not too long ago he had some techie questions about some things that he was curious about. Something with the motherboard. Can't remember the exact questioning that he had. But yes he does have a good system. Compared to what I'm using. (Mine is like a snail moving on Oracle 9i enterprise (Database system.) or similar program like tron. So its a good system for what tron has to offer him.

Kmon if your wondering what type I'm using its an old PII 266 with 384 mgs of ram and a Savage 4 16 meg vid card in there. So I cannot even play Tron 2.0.

lol compucore...my gateway is faster then that (not trying to make you feel bad)! I've always been into gaming/av stuff and its sooo much nicer to have a mid to high end system. I've gone without food for many days to affoard my new gf card, another hd, ect. Slave to technology....what can you say I dont mind the addiction though.

BTW if your in the market for a super high end capture card Digital Voodoo's new 64RT is only 10k...Why is it that shiny parts are usualy REALLY expensive?order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pillwhere to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

(Hearty Laugh) I'm taking it all in stride there Kmon. Yeah that is what I didn't know about that card. Mind you it would be interesting to see though. I think its because they made it out of gold the real gold I mean none of this hibby Jibby fake stuff. THink that is bad. I'm using right next to this one an old netserver from HP its a real oldie but a goodie. 486 DX 33 with 64 megs of ram and 2 micropolis drives in there. Making an online BBS through the internet for some fellow students to post things for school and all that. Just need to configure that BBS program just right and it'll work. Eventually I'm going to have to get a router switch over here. So I can use both of them on the same cable modem. So I don't have to pipe it through one small hub into my current machine then out onto the net.

Well if I had the money I would eventually get something decent as for a workstation or at least a good ECS notebook that will do the samething that I can work with. And even then my 2 old notebook just about had their day in the sun as well. An old toshiba T3200(a 286 with a amber plasma screen) and a Compaq Contura (486 with a tft flat screen.) Neither of them are have enough power that I really need. to do work with...

My computer is an E Machines W2260.
It came with 2200+ AMD Athlon XP Processor, 256MB of RAM , 60GB hard drive, CD-RW, DVD-ROM. It also came with a sweet 15' LCD flat screen. It's a great little package.

I love this LCD screen! It's perfect for graphics work. No more blury colors or going crosseyed at a curved screen.

The only drawback we had from it was it had a cheap modem in it which wouldn't connect over 28K. We bought another one and fixed that problem easily. Over all, I'm very happy with this computer.order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill

It's the grid bugs in the school computers. School computers have more grid bugs than home computers for insane reasons. where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

I love my LCD monitor too. The picture is so crisp and bright, plus it always fits the screen exactly! No more of that BS where when you change refresh rates, you have to adjust the picture size to fit the screen. That always drove me nuts.

The only little drawback is ghosting. Sometimes fast moving objects on the screen leave a trail. But I can put up with it.

I like my 22" crt

I've always have been a crt fan, desk space is not an issue for me. Also lcds cost more...yes they are ^sexier^. Well...just a look at my computer you room will have most of uninitiated running from all my werid projects and jerry riged things...so my monitor's look dosent really add or detract from the room (an lcd would probably look out of place...).

Lcd's are definitly getting better...and image quality is ^almost^ as good crts. Most likely within the next 5 years crts will be on the way out. For now, crts are better for somone like me IMO.

Kind of sad though...had a power spike and it roasted my gateway....crispy grid bugs!

Now I'm going bigger and better Just didnt want to spend the extra $ at this point. Ah well, *looks for some mac and cheese*
