I was surprised to have met some friends who actually like Tron. Well do any of you ever have Tron parties? You know here they decorate the house with lights glowing drinks everyone wears costumes and or T Shirts and Identity Discs.. 80s music etc daft punk. Of course watch Tron and Tron legacy and have video game contests with Tron Games and also 80s classic arcades.. all while the lights flash and music blasts.. as you drink a nice alcoholic drink or non for the younger players... in a glowing cup.. This kind of party sounds like heaven to me!!
With ElecTRONica gone.. I think the next best thing is to have Tron Related House parties.. or renting out a party hall and decorating.. Get big Screen with a sound system to watch the movies.. video games all over the place from PCs and arcade pads connected... Nintendo Wiis with Tron games etc.. X box with Tron...And a DJ and tron lights. and costumes. and of course glowing drinks. I want to have a party like this.. but I wonder if any local interest could be cool with it.

some film buddies of mine have been trying to put together a screening, but that's as far as I've ever taken it

In the 90's they called this a "rave" Ha, ha....just kidding, sort of.
That would be totally cool. I wish an End of Line Club or Electronica could be a permanent location somewhere. Actually, I've always thought Tron just begs a rave. Especially once they brought Daft Punk into it.

I've been to a few anime conventions in Kansas City. There is a fellow who made his own Tron: Legacy Sam Flynn lightsuit. Everybody goes nuts for it. I'll see if I can find the pictures I took
