Oh, forget that. I've been trying to be done with Yahoo mail ever since they sent me a thing saying "oh, hey, we're gonna have a bot read your email so we can target advertising to you!" Uh, no? I wrote them a scathing message that included a sentence something like "you're going to read my email so you can market to me? That's like telling me you're going to punch me in the face so you can cut my arm off."

Unfortunately it seems most email providers do this. I'm going to end up paying for email if I want to switch. Not to mention having to switch login info for all the message boards and such that I used my two Yahoo email addresses to sign up for. Pain in the arse.

Actually, I've had no such issue with Yahoo, or any other email service, actually. Could be that my ad blocker is behind that, though. That said, AdBlock Plus is free and really great. Only works with Firefox and Chrome, though, to my knowledge. Seems like Internet Explorer support isn't a thing for anyone out there that enjoys slow and exploitable web browsers.

In regards to Yahoo, I've been having some interesting issues as of late, as well. My phone can no longer connect to my account and I keep getting told that I need to verify my password or that my username isn't taken. I can still log in, but only if I change my password. Really confusing stuff. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

I don't really use my yahoo account anymore due to all the spam that account gets. I still check it occasionally, but for the most part I use my doombuggies.com account. It works great! I don't think they scan e-mails, Every time you log in they ask you if you would like to sign up for special "offers". I always just ignore them. :-) Plus the account hasn't gotten any spam since I got it. (Let's keep it that way bots!)

WEIRD, I HAVE THREE YAHOO ACCOUNTS THAT I USE ALL THE TIME, ONE OF WHICH IS AN AUSTRALIAN YAHOO ACCOUNT. YAHOO.COM.AU


I NEVER HAVE A PROBLEM WITH ANY OF THEM. ONE OF THEM DOES GET A LOT OF SPAM, BUT THEY DO GO TO THE SPAM FOLDER. I LOVE MY YAHOO(S)


AND I HAVE YET TO RECIEVE AN EMAIL ASKING ABOUT READING MY EMAILS/INTERESTS
