Who remembers this game?

Wow I used to spend hours on it on my old windows 2000 system...
I tried to install my old Doom 2 disc on Windows 7
but it didn't work..

I'm just addicted to Doom..

Get yourself Chocolate Doom (classic old look) or GZDoom (updates the graphics) to make it work on a modern version of Windows.

I've always play doom from time to time. Usually in the Fall (got to love DOSbox). The only thing that gets me is that I'm so use to playing newer FPS games that every time I play DOOM, I have the habit of wanting to use my mouse to look up and such.. lol...

I know this isn't a popular comment of mine, but I do not acknowledge the existence of DOOM 3. The game was good, but it just didn't feel anything like DOOM for me. I was hoping they were just going to take the original game and just update the levels and game play on a new engine... but that didn't happen. Nonetheless, that's just my personal feelings on the whole matter.

Here is something cool I like to brag about. I've held some online conversations with John Romero and Tom Hall (more with John actually), over the last few years. To be honest, it's not that hard to contact and talk to John since he is ALWAYS up for a conversation when it comes to his games and retro computer gaming (mostly Apple). Last conversation I had with the guy briefly was about 'Heretic', which is one of my all time favorite games.

Romero doesn't work at id anymore. He left after Quake. He formed Ion Storm but jumped into the dynamics of business and that almost destroyed the company. He left to work at some other development times like Monkey Stone and Mid-Way.. Now he works at Loot Drop.. but I don't know what projects he's working on.

I've only talked to Tom Hall twice via email. I'm not sure what he's working on these days... but I have them both on Facebook.

I don't know what it is but I sometimes have luck getting a response from developers. Now keep in mind that even though I've held conversations with some of these guys, it's not like we know each other personally. It's more of a fan that finds an opportunity from time to time... but it's still pretty cool. where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

Yeah pretty much Chocolate Doom sucks...
and should come with a warning....
it makes doom work...
but will mess up your machine!@!@@

it made my windows resolution HUGE...
and start up it's stil messed up!!!

back up... or use a version of windows... you don't use for work..
i am so upset about this.. and would never suggest this software to ANYONE...

just install windows 2000... and be safe about it...
at least that system was made for that game...
