I just saw the DVD today, having hunted for it and finally fiding it. Starman, that is. Even Jeff has an interst in it.
"Starman, I always wondered what happened there? That's kind of set up. Karen Allen is preggers. She's got that little ball and stuff. What's up with that? You know what I mean."
Wondering how the age thing could be explained, someone suggested this:
"I'd like to see a Jeff Bridges STARMAN 2 -- it would be easy enough to explain an aged Jeff Bridges. Have him appear "young" to Jenny at the start of the film, then have Jenny comment how her husband would be aged now - Starman then uses a glow-ball to age himself in that innocent Starman way he did things in the first movie. Done. "
WIth the de-aging process down for Jeff already, 10 or 15 minutes of it wouldn't hurt. His son would be older than say, the kid in the TV series, which was ok but I preferred Jeff and Karen as the lead characters. Man, I could only wish this could get made. OH wow I love starman! That's like one of the best movies ever!

Yeah... you guys know that they made a TV series about it in the mid-1980s? Played out most of the ideas. I never saw the ending, but I know it went for a full-season. Didn't have Jeff Bridges, though...
Was somewhat after "Automan" if I recall.... Which was the biggest Tron rip-off possible.

Heck I watched 'em all. If Starman 2 were made, I would ask that the TV series not be considered canon. I actually liked Automan, but yeah, ripoff plain and simple.
