I personally think the disc battles are a bit broken with four players, but one to three players seems to work fine. With four players it just gets way too hectic to follow anything that's going on. The control descriptions for some of the games were a bit confusing to me, as well.

It's a great game, though. GameSpot probably slammed it for being a movie tie-in from the creators of the generally poorly received (but great in my opinion) Call of Duty DS games. I'd give it an 8/10.

If you can, MCPcomputer, try and get the Toys R Us Championship Edition. Nobody here seems to have it or any details on it. From what I understand, it only includes a three-wheeled light runner vehicle for lightrunner modes.

$50 is definitely an appropriate price. I don't think mini-games is an appropriate term for the games, but then again, my only exposure to minigame collections has been the Mario Party games.

Regardless, the game is very replayable and amazing for when you have friends over. Most of my friends aren't as into the Tron universe as I am, yet it's still quite a popular choice when we all hang out.

Needless to say, there are some balance issues. As you progress, you can unlock faster and more powerful vehicles, discs, scoops, etc. with the bits you earn by getting derezzes in the games. Unfortunately, there are some very game-breaking vehicles (Flynn's lightcycle is a good example). Special rules should be considered for serious tournament play.

I rented it awhile ago but ended up keeping it wayyy past the return date. I enjoyed playing it even though some other people didn't.
