I agree. Not only for Tron stuff, HT overcharges for everything they sell IMHO. Cool stuff but I can't pay those prices

I grabbed the Daft Punk tron shirt that they had. It was overpriced but I'm glad I grabbed it. Although I've been a DP fan since around 1997 or so, so I had other motives besides Tron.

This is cool. I personally feel that the Daft Punk shirt is the best. It has plenty of things going on in the forground and background, not too little and not too overwhelming that it's cluttered. Really nice use of positive and negative space. Also, the monochromatic elements used in the piece are top notch and really catch the eye.

I did a short video on the Hot Topic shirt featuring the classic poster design about two months ago on my Youtube channel. The fabric feels like it's good quality, much more so than the Rinzler/Tron shirt that Disney Store offered.
I went with the poster shirt over the light cycle shirt as the design on the poster shirt looks much better and more colorful. The light cycle shirts didn't look visually appealing when I got a good look at them.
