He's not Mike Donovan. His character is the head of "Project Aries". A secret government group fighting the V's. The new series doesn't pull from the original canon. Now one knew about the V's at the beginning, as if the original series never happened. I'm just glad that Singer has some work!

Why bring the original cast members back like Jane Badler and Marc Singer if they aren't playing their original characters? Shameless ratings grab, that's why. I hate remakes.
