Sark 1.0 held his own against Tron but Tron seems to have been upgraded, so how upgraded would Sark 2.0 be?

Until we actually SEE Dillinger Jr. as a program -- which might not even be a Sark 2.0 -- it's really impossible to say. Heck, Dillinger Jr. might not even appear as a program! (Although this is unlikely). But to run with the scenario...
Kinda going off of what IluthraDanar said, Tron is "upgraded", and Dillinger Jr's program would probably be of the same "level" of upgrade. So really, it'd probably just be like an "upgraded" version of the fight between Tron and Sark in the original film.

I would hope that DJ wouldn't just write a simple program, but somehow find his own way onto the grid.
As a User AND a computer whiz/ possible hacker-type, I think DJ would have infinitely more power than any program written in the grid. He would be like Papa Flynn, but on steroids. He would basically be a god-like entity on the grid, which is why I hope he makes it there in the third film... A Dillinger Jr program would most likely be a system administrator or moderator program and most likely would have equal strength if compared to Tron. Now the big problem witht he way you guys are thinking is that the Encom mainframe has been running for 20 years now without Kevin Flynn, and is a completely different kind of system than The Grid in Legacy. The Grid in a Tron 3 is going to still emulate the Encom mainframe and should look nothing like The Grid in Legacy. Now aesthetics may be similar, but the setup, types of programs, etc should still be quite different. Unless....maybe Flynn rebuilt the entire Encom mainframe too....that would be cool.

I still say Dillinger Jr. wouldn't merely write a program.
I like to entertain the thought that in the next film he finds out about the shiva laser, and the fact that a person can be digitally transported into a computer. He could wreak so much havoc having user powers inside the grid; especially if it were a networked computer with access to the web... No security/sentry/system monitor would stand a chance against him.

This is off-topic, but I don't think Dillinger created Sark.
Sark answered to the MCP, and Dillinger answered to the MCP, too.
Sark may have just been a program Dillinger created, before he stole Flynn's video games....

Interesting proposition...
Sark 1.0 was Dillenger as Sark 2.0 would be DJr.
But the idea of the Djr being a demi-god run rampant in the Encom system and Sam and Tron having to team up to defeat him I think might be better. But a Tron2 vs Sark2 would be better because either one of them could die.

I think it would be a close fight, but in the end, Rinzler/TRON 2.0 would end up mopping the floor with Sark 2.0, just like his earlier iteration did.

Tron 1.0 beat Sark 1.0 because Sark was just a puppet of the MCP, and Dillenger himself was a puppet of the MCP. Dillenger's was, as commented by Flynn, a dull witted programmer who's only skill was deceitfulness.
But in Dillenger JR you have a real force. You saw how easily he wipped out Sams thing, and its obvious he was a MAJOR influence and Technical Expert in Encom OS-12. The guy knows his stuff! He created his own company and was outprogramming Encom!
I Don't believe Tron 2.0 could beat Sark 2.0 (ED JR) by himself. I think ED JR is a much much stronger force with the skills of even Flynn himself.

I think Rinzler would definitely win, you know him being a champion in grid games, I think he will kick Dillinger's ass.

Tron/Rinzler has been fighting and battling in Disc-wars for at least a thousand grid-years, and that's after cracking open Sark's dome by himself. Not mention whatever other jobs Clu had for him.
So, Tron wins through sheer experience.
