I'm not always so serious, I would just prefer the "poop humor" be kept to South Park or Family Guy.
Excuse me for finding talk of certain human bodily functions of fictional characters to be NOT relevant to the TRON universe and that such is not amusing to me. where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

Maybe not, but it did bring up an interesting point, which is a bit more relevant than "where's the toilet on the grid?"
How biology works in T:L is something I'm curious about, because from what I know of the first TRON, Flynn clearly was completely converted into a Program (biologically anyway). Seeing Sam bleed flipped my understanding of TRON mythos completely on its ear.
And the trials and tribulations of becoming human is a great story element in sci-fi.

Agreed. I've seen movies with 10 minute long scenes of someone struggling to go to the bathroom because they're in a super silly predicament.
Coincidentally (or not, considering how you look at it) they're also all really bad comedy movies.
Also, ShadowDragon, this thread is just for fun. No need to take it so seriously.

I'm not sure what the situation is for the Next Gen Enterprise D, but the original 60s show never had any bathrooms in it's (fictional) ship blueprints which became something of a running joke.
That situation was resolved in the (quite excellent) movie-era book "Mr Scott's Guide to the Enterprise" which included appropriate restroom facilities throughout the vessel including directly off the bridge.abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

How do Programs eliminate? Simple.
They click on the box that says "Empty Recycle Bin", and then when it asks "Confirm delete? Y/N" they select "Y".

Yeah, man, I agree with you completely...but c'mon.
I am totally sick to death of all of the "Oh man, Quorra is going to be surprised when [insert bodily function or sex act]" talk in this forum, and I agree that those posters need to grow up, but there's no need to get all uptight about it, bro. Like you said earlier in the thread:

It remains a valid point, however. Life in the meat world comes with a number of messy realities, and even the pleasant things like sex are going to seem shockingly wet, smelly, and untidy to a being used to a sanitary electronic existence. We've all had decades to come to terms with these facts of life, but someone like Quorra is simply not going to be equipped to handle it.
This was something so unaddressed in the film that it ascends to the level of plot hole. The ending of the film portrays Quorra all awestruck and smiling, wowed by the human world. That will NOT last. And in a Disney film, it's hard to imagine them addressing this at all, which breaks the pretense of reality of the film.
It has far less to do with "immature humor" and more to do with the fact that A) Quorra is in for a long and unpleasant process of education and adjustment, or B) she's going to want back in the digital world ASAP.
This ties in to a point I've made repeatedly about Legacy, in that it forgot the optimistic cyber-transhumanism of the first film in it's zeal to present a conventionally reassuring "forget seeking perfection, focus on real life" message. It pointedly ignored that there are a lot of very unpleasant facts of life in the physical world that are worth dreaming of transcending digitally.
Whether you or Disney like it or not, that remains a fact that Quorra is destined to learn the hard way.

Even small stuff isn't addressed...like what happens when someone who's used to living in a world of complete darkness, save for the artificial light, ends up somewhere with sunlight?? Just that right there would be a "holy shit!" moment. No doubt she has some idea what to expect since she's been living with a user for a long time, but she probably hasn't even seen pictures of what the real world is like, just heard descriptions.
Not that I really want to see them address it...far, faaaaaaaar too complex for anyone to be able to pull it off. But yes, we might as well not pretend that Q isn't in for a LOT of surprises, both good and bad, and adjustment to a totally different existence than she has ever known. What do you want? I'm busy.
Program, please!
Chaos.... good news. |

Indeed, and considering that films like TRON ultimately can trace their sci-fi routes to authors like Asimov, there's a lot of no-brainers with regards to what would/should happen to Quorra.
There's no guarantee it won't happen in the next film, but how Disney would pull it off without ticking off the soccer moms is beyond me.
They got flak just from Sam cussing in the disc fight, or so I heard.
