Well to start off Only Solutions by Journey...
because it was the song that played
back in the 1982 arcade, when Flynn's was open..
Also Mirror in the bathroom should be on there as well..

Y'know, I read somewhere that they originally wanted a Supertramp song for the movie and couldn't get them, so they used Journey instead....

Eurythmics - Sweet Dreams
Thomas Dolby - She Blinded Me With Science
Journey - Separate Ways
Styx - Mr. Roboto
A-Ha - I've Been Losing You
Culture Club - Karma Chameleon
Duran Duran - Hungry Like The Wolf
Starship - Babylon
All I can think of on top of my head. I'd have to go through my 80s LPs and 45s to jog my mind on more.

Yeah, I wondered if that was the one they were going to use...though the rest of the song only slightly fits, but they probably weren't going for "fitting" anyway. (I'm one of those purists that likes to use songs as inspiration for stuff, but only if it actually fits; it drives me nuts when people use songs for stuff and only a couple of the lyrics fit, or people that use music like "O Mio Babbino Caro" or "The Water Is Wide" for their weddings and such--inevitably I'm sitting there going, "sure the music's pretty, but do you know what this song is ABOUT???" lol) What do you want? I agree that most likely it was for what was popular for the era vs certain lyrics fitting. It is fun tho how some of it does (like the part you quoted) Kinda like them using "Separate Ways" when Sam is in the Arcade in Legacy. The first verse can be conceived as being the Sam/Kevin (father/son) relationship but obviously not the entire song. I'm sure it was popular around the time the Arcade closed, as well as reading into the part they were playing [[ie: "Here we stand, Worlds apart, Hearts broken in two-two-two, Sleepless nights, Losing ground, I'm reaching for you-you-you"... even the second verse that was not heard has a line that fits "Promises we made were in vain" ]]
I used to always chuckle how in the 80's a lot of folks used "Every Breath You Take" by the Police for weddings, and I was always like: Dude, that is a stalker's song LoL End of Line.

These were probably mentioned before but, this is what I would put in . . .
Both Journey songs on the TRON ost (1990's theme and Only Solutions) and "Don't stop Believin" "Seperate ways" (obviously)
and now everything else . . .
Jukebox Hero - Foreigner
867-5309 (Jenny) - Tommy Two-tone
Computer Cowboy - Neil Young
Nothing's Gonna Stand in Our Way - Spectre General
The Touch - Stan Bush
Hungry Like the Wolf - Duran Duran
Mr. Roboto and Blue Collar Man - Styx
Start Me Up - Rolling Stones
Owner of a Lonely Heart - Yes
Final Countdown - Europe (duh, see above posts)
Jump and 1985 - Van Halen
Money for Nothin' - Dire Straits
Living on a Prayer - Bon Jovi
Beat it - Michael Jackson
Shake it Up - The Cars
Who Can it Be Now? - Men at Work
Our Lips Are Sealed and Vacation - Go-gos (Maybe . . .)
Eye of The Tiger - Survivor
Pac-man fever - Buckner and Garcia (Too obvious?)
That's my best. Opinions?where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online
