Kevin Flynn was/is supposed to change the human condition ...i.e. religion philosophy ,science etc. etc. ..smacks in the face of logic that he is into zen/budhism...and meditates...here's a little something i thought up while actually thinking ( yes this can be done when not meditating ) about my post on ladytrons thread about what may have ruined it for some....a person asks you into a building with many rooms ....he says there are a hundred people meditating in this room ..now close your eyes and pick three people and bring them to the next room... we continue on to a third room where people are working and he says ...close your eyes and pick three ... we then move onto a fourth room with the three workers ... now open your eyes and tell me why you chose the way you did and i say ...well the first was not fair because i could not here what they were meditating on and with my eyes closed could not choose the oldest & wise..est or the youngest with uncluttered mind... well then how were you able to determine which workers to pick by sound and not by age looks or braun (muscle)...that was easy ....the first i chose was hammering fast and hard but had to rest alot because he would wear himself out quickly and the second one had a consistent steady pace and only rested at approved intervals ....the third one who hammered three times, then once ,then two more times was the best ...not machine like at all....the person asked me why that one that sounded so different and maybe the worst worker of all....well that was because i deduced later that he was checking his work for consistency between a predetermined number of hits to inspect it while the other two did not ,saving money on the inspection process later on.......WHY IS THIS POST HERE .....Well then ...would you have the blind leading the blind.....I'd rather have a world of workers ( even a microbe is working towards something ) then a world of people sitting around doing nothing ....today ...yesterday ...a hundred ...or a thousand years ago...and not much to show for it.... Had a dream this morning related to zen (me thinks)... I was visisting my girlfriend (asian descent)...and her father got me alone and said to me ...i am going to send ninjas for you , when you leave.....end of dream ...then woke up and i thought about this a few seconds and it came to me .................should have told girlfriend and mom what he said to me........unless you stay here ninjas will visit you.......after a few weeks living with them i leave the house and nothing happens to me ....guess i showed him ...LOL

The whole thing about the Zen and Buddhism is simply a religion and philosophy encompassing a variety of traditions, beliefs and practices. Based on the exact nature of the path to liberation (hence Castors' quote "Liberation for everybody".).

Zen/Buddhism is more where you see the paths ahead of you, you choose the path you think is more mindful.

I don't think Kevin Flynn was trying to "play God" in the Grid, just simply a wise person believing he could make the Grid a world with positive and balanced way of life for Programs and Users.
