I finally got to watch in one sitting, The Making of Tron on the DVD today. I was in awe of the work these people had to do, the tests, the hand work as well as the computer graphics involved. One guy said after all was said and done, they got no Academy nomination because everyone thought they had cheated by using computers (and it wasn't all done that way). Yet now films use computers routinely, so why wasn't Legacy nominated? Similar prejudices? I just don't get it. But as a fan from way back, I can appreciate the work they put into the films. I just wonder what happened to all those filming cels used to portion off different parts of the scenes. Man, they must be worth some bucks. (On Heroes, James Clark, the props man, showed us a trash barrel of old film that had been discarded. I know of people who cut up those clips and sell them. What a waste!)

Yeah I also watched
the making of Tron the DVD!
Truly amazing!
One thing I think is crazy..
is that they had less computing power.
than a smart phone...
and they accomplished so much!
I thought the early concepts for the light cycles
were interesting... order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill

One thing I noticed was in the test of the rings game, it looked like they had Flynn or his counterpart (not sure if they even had characters beyond Tron yet) kill Crom or his counterpart. Of course, in the film, that was changed to Flynn refusing to finish the game and Sark killing Crom. I'm glad they didn't make Flynn a program murderer.

Here's one that I found online:

I don't know if that's expensive, cheap, or about right. I have never bought movie film cells. They look pretty cool though.
I think they have some for TRON: Legacy too.where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

those are film frames, not the cells.
for film frames, that's about right.
at one point my boss had a travelling horror museum and the halls were lined with those things, he was able to pick em up at about 10 - 15 a pop, but then again he bought like 50 of them.

Interesting... me and my friend were just talking about this.
Flynn never really de rezzed any programs..
WITH a Disc....
IN the first Tron.. he did derezzed a Red program...
with his bare hands... He did de rezz..
a program... but never one of his own kind...
I think Flynn has always been more about not fighting
and more into his Zen thing...
because we've never really seen him de rezz
programs with his Disc.. that was always Tron's job!

I'm not sure if the frames I'm talking about are called cels. If anyone saw the making of docu, you will recall the black and white frame shots with were overlayed with other pieces, based on what needed lighitng and so on. THOSE are the things I wondered if they saved, burned, or tossed to scavengers.
