So yeah me and my buddies when we drink vodka or some beer, we always say.. "Oh you forget how good the power feels... until you get to a pure source!"
So Pure Source was alcohol right? Because at the End of Line club i assume they were drinking pure source...
And the glowing drinks at End of Line club at Disneyland will also have glowing drinks... So I think that Pure Source is alcohol in the real world..

Well no, I think it's closest to being water, but like ultra-water  It's probably like how good water tastes and feels after a long hot day in the blinding sun when you finally get an ice cold glass. But it's like that every time you drink it.
I've never liked alcohol and it feels like trying to drink gasoline to me, so I would definitely not equate it with something refreshing and enervating. Well if the liquid at the End of Line club..
was served at a Bar.. i would think it's alcohol.
But if the pure source was just water in the real world
that would make sense to if they were thirsty...
But if pure source is the same stuff they served at the End of Line club..
then it could be alcohol... I mean in the digital world..
it could just be their power being charged..
I heard the End of Line club at Disneyland is gonna have
alcoholic drinks... that light up...
I think intoxication with a light up drink..in the End of Line club..
is big fun! then playing some space paranoids buzzed..

I agree hard alcohol can be harsh to down.. so maybe it was IPA beer
tastes good refreshing and gives the program a good buzz that makes him
light up lol

I think a pure source would be straight from that cave in Tron 1.
The drinks in TRON:Legacy are probably processed, and therefore, may not be as pure.
Kinda like the whole thing with tap water and the marketing around bottled water - you know, how they say that bottled water is from a pure spring (actually, a lot of bottled water is from a municipal water supply).

I never took "pure source" to mean that the liquid was actually called pure source. Maybe I was wrong, but all these years when I heard Tron saying that I was took it to mean that the energy was coming from a/the source...and it was pure.
I mean, if you found a crystal-clear spring where the water was fresh and clean and you said to your companion, "Man, water is never as good as when you get it from a pure source!" Well, you wouldn't be saying that the water itself is "pure source"; it's coming from a pure source.
It's completely different.
I could be very wrong; no one else on this thread seems to have said what I'm saying and I haven't seen the original Tron in a little while, so maybe I just am totally misremembering it. If so, sorry! Ignore me! Ha.
