I didn't think they killed off Daft Punk. Will have to pay more attention next time, but wasn't the club empty by the time Clu & Co. showed up?
(speaking of Daft Punk...so they were supposed to be MP3 programs, right? Can one listen to music IN the Grid? i mean, they don't have iPods, right, because, well, they ARE the iPods in a way? So do you have to drag around Daft Punk to the gym with you when you want some tunes? And what do they have for music there anyway, do they have our music, which would make sense since, well, the programs would be created for users to listen to "real world" music? Is there Vivaldi in the Grid?)
I wonder about the drink from Clu too. I had thought originally it was poisoned, but maybe indeed it was just pre-"haha, you're gonna die" snarkiness. Can't remember, did C/Z actually drink any?
I thought that scene a bit hokey as well. I don't know I believe C/Z and Gem surivived it, but they WERE way too calm and accepting about "so dude, we're gonna die, that's okay."

I think it works both ways. DP are MP3 programs that at the same time serve as DJs in the grid so when a person in the real world is not using them to play music, they become free roaming DJs that because music is native to their programming, cook up wicked beats. OK, after a second viewing, once Castor and Gem notice their dire predicament, Clu is already walking into his command ship. The next scene clearly shows some time has elapsed WITHOUT the End of Line club blowing up, since we see the ship cruising away at a much lower altitude.
It is easy to conceive of the whole gang getting away to electrify the boys and girls another day.
Why use Norton AV or AVG to protect your computer when you could be using TRON instead!?

I think my character's been around since the earliest days of the gaming Grid. I like the idea that early on I was a program that was made in order to integrate anomalies within the system. The question is...how do you play music there? Do you need DP? That would keep them quite busy. Because it doesn't make sense to have iPods...because...well, you know! Can you just conjure it out of thin air?

Oh, I think it's pretty clear that Castor and Gem are dead. I wasn't attached to either one of them, so I was kinda like, See ya!

There is plenty of time between when the bombs were planted to when they actually detonated. The writers will have no trouble explaining away castor/gems escape if they want the characters to continue.
Also in this or another post someone said castor's cane shot out 'lights' that didn't do anything. True. But that same cane was what shot a hole in the black guards head that had Flynns disc, so there must be different 'mode' settings (stun/kill maybe lol).on line abortion pill misoprostol dose abortion medical abortion pill online
