Greetings, programs! The PimpDragon is back...and I've seen TRON LEGACY!!!

Hello, friends!

I'm glad to finally be back at the Sector after seeing a super sneak preview last night of TRON LEGACY!!!!

I hope all of you are well and are excited to see TL because I think you're all going to be quite happy with what you see! The visuals are STUNNING - the Grid looks different from the original but it really is an amazing, unique place! CLU is a litlte wonky (soulless eyes like The Polar Express) but since he's a program it's easier to accept and because Bridges does a great job with the performance, you buy him.

The soundtrack is pretty off the chain! If you haven't grabbed it, Amazon.com has it for download for just $3.99! I wish some of the original themes had been used from the Wendy Carlos score, but I realized that this Grid, this film, is its own thing. The soundtrack really helps you get the vibe that this isn't the same place we visited in 1982. I truly love the main theme for the film and the End Credits are very Daft Punk, which works!

I'll post pictures of the special material sent to digital theaters for how to properly show TL once I get it! I saw it last night and its mine, but I have to wait until after opening weekend! It's very cool for an instructions package!

I can't wait to hear your thoughts on the film, fellow programs! I still can't believe we have a new Tron film nearly 30 years after the original!

It's great to be back! Much love to you all!!!!!

I'm great, homey!

Glad to be back and especially at this critical time in the Sector's life - the appearance of a new Tron film!

I feel that TL works very well. It is not the same kind of feel of the original, but it stands on its own, in my humble opinion.

I need to see it again but for now it's definitely in my Top 5 films of the year! I sincerely hope from the bottom of my heart that everyone here at least likes it if they don't flat out love it! I flat out love it, as did the five other folks I watched the film with last night at the screening! We were all blown away and truly wrapped up in the film!

DaveTRON, I hope you walk away happy with it as you are easily the biggest Tron fan I know! Just go in with a clear mind, don't try to compare it to the original and watch it as its own thing and I think you'll at the very least like it!

Well, the screenings were tonight. What did everyone think? I think we should keep it spoiler-free 'til Saturday.

I have been involved in several ways behind the scenes so to speak and have seen a fairly good chunk of the film, albeit in disjointed pieces. What I have seen to date I like. I am seeing it complete for the first time next Saturday.

I was starting to buy into some of the negative reviews of the game and soundtrack (which on it's own I still dislike), but I am hopeful to see the finished product and love it as I think I will. I might even learn to like the soundtrack because of the film. We'll see.

Anyway, good to have you back and I hope you'll be hanging around again. We need more of the old guard around here. Wonder if Scuzzy will ever show up again?

Good question! Where is Reel Todd?

Well, the overall concensus here is that Tron Legacy is liked, if not loved by the crew. There are a few dissenters, and that's totally fine! Everyone's entitled to their opinions!

But, I think we can all say that it's just cool to see the country swept up in Tron! I never thought I'd see the Grid again, but 28 years later here we are!

Woah missed your return post.

Welcome back Pimp.

Reel Todd I think is just busy with life at the moment. I can put ya in a serious head lock at times.
