She gets blown up in the end of line club with Castor but towards the end when Clu was giving his invasion speech there was a close up of a Sentry that was definitely female, pale and pink lip gloss. It looked like Gem. Did anyone notice this?

I noticed the close-up but I didn't notice it was a female. Hmmm..

I'm still not convinced that she and Castor were destroyed at all. He's the type to have escape routes planned, and he got away from a similar attack in Evolution. There was quite a bit of time between the bombs being placed and Clu leaving, enough that they could totally have gotten out.

I hope Gem got out Safely. She was too Hot to kill off! Haha! I dont care about Zeus though. He was such a annoying character!

They were standing together in-frame. She was near the bar, like she had been, while Castor/Zuse was closer to the camera, looking concerned.
They totally set it up to allow for them to escape derezzing, though they would have to move very fast. Did you notice how there was no transport (digital teleportation) in this movie besides through the Shiva Laser/Portal? I can't see why Flynn, TRON, or CLU wouldn't allow it in this Grid, so there's one possibility right there.

I...didn't think that was female. I was a bit perplexed by that though. I was like, "why are we zooming in on random sentry? Are we supposed to recognize him? Those lips look familiar..."

I liked Zuse...He was wacky and zanny and fun...
I didn't mind him dancing during the fight scene. I thought it was funny, and very appropriate. It showed that hes kind of a jerk. I mean he did just betray them, and now he is flaunting it by dancing about and laughing.

I liked Castor too. He is a total jerk, but perhaps not above redemption. You have to remember, he believed in the users and fought for the Isos... and then was pretty much abandoned by Flynn for hundreds of years. That can make you very hard.

Micheal Sheen said he used David Bowie's Ziggy Startdust as an inspiration for Castor but somewhere in there I saw quite abit of Clockwork Orange when chaos hit the fan.

There was a rumor around DD during production that Castor and Gem survive the explosion. Something to do with the "designed it myself you know".
But there was/is nothing on paper/script confirming that rumor.
Also, the whole grid was not destroyed by the explosion at the end. Just the platform and the obelisks around it. The grid otherwise is intact and transferred to Sam's flashdrive.
