Dave, I still remember that thread from numerous years back... the one involving fantasies and UV-reactive body paint...

Yeah it was real. Got taken out for a couple reasons I think. Despite how pretty it is, it's kinda dull. It's also blatantly erotic, but in such an abstract way that it's hard to take seriously. I mean, she's "pushing his buttons" for crying out loud.

However, there's also something ancient in the very early draft of the script, at least, that's the impression I get. In one of the teasers for the film, the narrator says that love is forbidden on the grid. This ties in with Yori saying that the room in its secret mode is highly illegal, which would've made no sense at all in the film as it is now. And of course, there's the obvious "this is a family film" issue, and I find this scene pretty risque, even by today's standards.

Also, even when I was little, I had trouble tackling the concept of love between programs. Not that there's anything particularly wrong with it, but once you bring sex into the mix, then you need to come up with a way of explaining programs boinking each other and having children. And I think that requires way too much suspension of disbelief, even for something as obscure as TRON.

I bet it ticked off the animators too, because it clearly one of the most complex scenes in the whole shebang.

Kinda glad this came up again though. I totally forgot that she lost her helmet in the transformation. So hair isn't so odd on the other side of the screen after all.

And... is that really all there is to this scene? I don't have access to any of my DVD's atm so I can't check, but did they really cut it where her hand starts going into the... uhh... password-protected folder? It just seems way too comical to end it like that.

So... who's willing to bet that this scene has been resurrected and something very similar inserted into T:L?

IIRC the scene is also in the novelization of the movie.

Seriously though, they turn everything into porn. EVERYTHING.

Porn parodies are the big thing right now, behind MILF and amateur/gonzo videos. Most of the parodies are really bad though. The Pirates of the Carribean and Avatar (even in 3d and you get a blue fleshlight with the special edition) are supposed to be good.

I have the collector's edition DVD and can confirm that the deleted scene is in there as an option to view. It was quite. . .interesting in that it showed Tron without his helmet.

There's concept art of the love scene, which is way different then the movie, more robotic, and they stand at a distance, palms up and aiming at each other, sharing energy, and the story behind it had them rising into the air. The novelisation has a version that's different than the others, but all three involve energy exchange and some kind of change in appearance.where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill onlineabortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

Is that what a "glow job" is?
