They should do a three episode special of "Tron: Uprising" and air it in early December of *this* year, to introduce the Tron universe to kids that watch Disney X D, to get them even more interested in going to see Tron Legacy. Fall 2011 is kind of far off to push out the episodes.

It sounds more like the story possibly takes place after the storyline of the graphic novel "Tron: The Betrayal".

I bet some of the characters show up in the Wii version of TRON Evolution too. I still say that is set up to support the cartoon version from the little bits I saw at E3 this year.

So it goes from Tron -> Tron: Betrayal -> Tron: Evolution -> Tron: Uprising -> Tron: Legacy? Cool! And to think not too long ago, all we Tron fans had was the original and Tron 2.0.
I like the idea of a microseries. It worked really well for Star Wars: Clone Wars back in 2003-2005. I still love re-watching those animated shorts, even with the dominance of the newer, far more elaborate Star Wars: The Clone Wars series.
Even with the spoiler, it still doesn't confirm or deny one theory regarding a certain new character from Tron: Legacy. Well done on the press release's part!
Why use Norton AV or AVG to protect your computer when you could be using TRON instead!?

Too bad my beloved TRON 2.0 gets left out of the timeline. Our ICPs and Mercury were great characters. They deserve to be part of the world!

Davetron it will depend on the package that you have from either the satelite TV or cable company. Some have it and others do not. I know up here in Quebec. They do not offer it whether you have the basica cable or the digital one up over here.

Timeline prediction:
TRON > TRON: Evolution - Battle Grids > TRON: The Betrayal (comic issue 1 & 2) > TRON: The Betrayal (graphic novel) > TRON: UPRISING > TRON: Evolution > TRON: Legacy
Also, it's important to keep in mind that Flynn has been in the computer since 1989, and that since nobody else knew about Flynn's secret hideaway in his arcade, nobody else has done anything with that system, hence why the digital world seems mostly unchanged in the time between Evolution and Legacy.
