Nor should it cost millions of dollars and countless hours of post-production. Don't believe the hype. |
Amen, brother!!!
Also, BlueTronWarrior, your costume looks very kewl!! It looks like you fused the TRON and TRON Legacy costumes together!
Edit: Wouldn't it be cool if someone in the Legacy film looked like Jet from TRON 2.0??

You know, they thought the same thing about the lightsabers for the Star Wars prequels. Then they realized the CGI auto-rotoscoping is completely incapable of tracking reference points through motion blur, and ended up hand-rotoscoping all the lightsabers anyway because it ended up being faster, cheaper, and better-looking. The thing that I think you guys are missing here is that no matter how good the rotoscoping might be, you're going to miss one pivotal thing Kosinski is doing with the practical costumes: lighting. The practical suits serve as their own light sources, which is going to look incredible on screen in terms of dynamic lighting and composition.

That would be great. Maybe as a program of a hacker named Jet. Definitely would put a smile on my face. Of course, he might not be very recognizable. With less circuits and real hair. But I think Sam is basically a more polished Jet. There are a lot of elements from Tron 2.0 in the characters. Even the title. Jet Lives! |

You'd be pandering to a miniscule, miniscule audience. As much as we all love Tron 2.0, it didn't exactly light the gaming world on fire.where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online The Clu abides, man...

He did say there were going to be easter eggs in the movie. So pandering is not out of the question. With all the other programs in the background, I don't see how having one of them look like Jet is really that big of a deal. Maybe have him in a cell with other hacker programs. Nothing big.

And how, praytell, would one hack an off-the-grid machine sitting in a hidden room in the basement of an abandoned arcade? The Clu abides, man...

Are you hear to just argue and fight?
We don't know yet if the system is off line. That's an assumption. If it is then yes that would kill that idea. But Jet or Mercury as a background character would be doable. Especially as an easter egg. Jet Lives! |
