I especially liked the fact that it never become over-indulgent and luvvie about itself. If I had written it, I would have described in every single nerdy detail how the dreams are built and entered, when this sort of technology was invented, who the 'corporation' is etc.

But it doesn't patronise the audience with all of that and just gets on with what it important: the story, which is usually what hollywood tends to forget about.

And for the record, the totem in my opinion DID stop spinning at the end. I reckon that Nolan just wanted to give a classic happy ending.
