Don't know if anyone here other than me and Mr. Sinistar have heard of this movie, but it's essentially Predator 3 and completely disregards the Alien Vs. Predator franchise as a part of its canon.
I'm planning on seeing the midnight showing. Comes out July 9th.

I think the idea now, though, is that there's like 5 or something Predators and the humans are trying to escape a game reserve.

It's actually even ignoring Predator 2, so no Danny Glover either. Robert Rodriguez was working on it with Arnold back in 1995, and it eventually fell by the wayside. Then last year they came back to him, told him they loved it, and let him produce it without their involvement. There was a series of novelettes back in the 90's of AVP that I read and they were sooooooo much better than the movie (it was a totally different story set far into the future).
The novelettes of Doom and Doom 2 was so much better than the Doom movie too (again, totally different story).
Anyways.. I'm looking forward to this movie. I just hope it I'm not staring at a blank screen like I did in AVP 2... Did you see AVP 2? No? Don't worry, no one did. They were at the movies, they had their popcorn, and they heard the audio, but no one saw the damn thing because the whole movie was a black screen. Biggest waste of money ever.
... but still, I would like to see Predators.

Just saw it at the midnight show the other night. Probably one of the best movies I have ever seen. The theater audience was pretty awesome, too. You see, normally at movies you have this really annoying guy who shines his red laser pointer at the screen. The guy in this audience had three and was doing this:
Pros:
-There are about 8 main characters
-They are all very highly developed throughout the movie
-Awesome plot twists that you will NOT expect
-There is a character from the original movie, will not say who though
- Soundtrack was just pure epic-New Predator tech is awesome
-Makes it a point that this is a sequel to the original Predator movie
-Is not in canon with Predator 2
-Is not in canon with any AvP anything
-The first scene
-Cinematography
Cons:
-All dialogue in the first 30 minutes of the film was mostly comprised of f**k. For example:
SPOILER... Mouse Over To Read:Character 1: Who are you?
Character 2: *whips out two mini-uzis* F**K YOU MAN

I have never seen any of the Predator movies at all. I did go see the new one last night. I gota say I did have fun with this. I know little of 1... I guess I will have to watch that one now. But anyways, this movie was nice!order abortion pill morning after pill price where to buy abortion pill

I haven't seen the new movie yet.. but I'm gonna.. If you haven't seen the first Predator movie then you must. It really is good. You can skip the 2nd movie. I mean, it was kinda interesting but every time they make a squeal based in the big city, the movie always sucks.

Poltergeist 3
Home Alone 2 (the first one wasn't good anyways)
Critters 3
Friday the 13th (the one based in New York)
Tremors: Graboids in Chicago (lol, I just made that one up)
Debbie Does Delaware (I made that one up too)
STARWARS: LA STRIKES BACK
And the reverse is true too:

I have been reading reviews on skipping the other sequals.. I did see some of 2 because I like Adam Baldwin. I'll make sure to watch 1 soon.
