Despite the title that Wikileaks gave this, I am still undecided as to who is to blame here.
But I think it is still important to show this.

Hmmm. I dunno what to think of this. Coming from my Christian viewpoint, this war has been happening for a very long time. It's sad to see about the casualties that go along with war. Even the children.
After seeing this, I feel very awkward of the US government. I'm not one for them, never really have been. I just can't trust them for some reason. Most of it started when 9/11 hit.
But we as humans, are dumb and blind to mostly what is happening. IMO, I do feel like this is a "Spiritual War".. Even though we go through these wars, I do get saddened on the deaths of many.

Really disturbing and diplorable in my view.
Anything else I might say would be taken out of context and I don't feel like arguing with anyone about the moral/ethical/etc rammifications of this terrible event. *sigh*

haha I know the feeling man. Its not easy, but I like to learn from others and just see how their feeling on subjects like this.

Looked more like the TV operator mistook the guy's camera for a weapon, but maybe I missed something. Not saying it's okay, just that they made a mistake. Those guys should('ve) definitely been punished for it, though.
EDIT: Just re-watched the footage. His shoulder camera definitely looked like an RPG, but still not really a valid excuse.

Probably not a good idea to to post this kind of stuff on Tron-Sector.
Horrible, gives a bad name to the soldiers were we live (where most of the soldiers here rescue and give medical care to both civilians and other soldiers).
I also know what it's like to have family and friends shot dead or put in prision for simply wanting freedom of speech and religion and expressing their need for it(as in recently and with in the past thirty years). Makes me more paranoid about it. Once again not a good idea to post this kind of stuff on Tron sector. ._.

I don't see this as taboo, running away? ftw. get over it. One civillian to another, the paradox, IC these trained killers are attacking ppl w/o actually seeing violence, and we don't know the circumstances, one shot was fired and these guys find this group huddling to get a pics. The pilots are dillusional imo.
What's the target? gimme a break.
I do respect our country much more than most it seems, all you need to worry about, but I know the type, there are several who aren't serving it - some also in the military, it's shameful that this happened on our watch.
Clearly, these individuals want war. But they'll stop when nothing is left, and left is how they come, hopeless and angry because of rediculous standards of "war", But this lot, they clearly aren't capable of serving. esp from a helo.
Military needs lemon law... But that's just the pop top on the can of worms, you don't want to know how these ops are truely run until you see who's trying to make money, and how.
Good topic, I like wikileaks, and this forum.

But in all seriousness, this is an extremely touchy subject and as with anything posted on the Internet, it's going to spiral out of control very soon, unless admins/moderators watch over the discussion.
However, due the extremely sensitive nature of this topic, this discussion will be locked at the first sign of a flame war/heated argument etc.
One last note; in general, while I respect freedom of speech, I agree with Cyberwolven. This is a forum dedicated to a children's movie from the early 80s. Tron-Sector is simply not the best place to post such upsetting material. Last several times we had these messy debates, we lost a few good, decent members and created a big mess for us admins to clean up. Being an admin for Tron-Sector is becoming harder and harder for me each day thanks to college and my search for a job.

Yeah, I agree, I won't put anything else similar to this on here ever again but I felt that this was the exception to the rule. I think it is important that it is seen, never mind discussing it or locking the thread, that doesn't really matter.
But watch it, form your own opinion, and then move on.

Wikileaks are indeed pretty awesome.
They're always doing some real Mulder-and-Scully-like work against the bad guys.
