Okay, so I was casually watching GI Joe, and at about the 1h:29m:12s into the DVD I swear I heard the derezzing sound after a large cannon fires.
Big thumbs up to the sound designer of that movie if that is indeed what it was...
Anybody else hear it?
I still have power... Sark doesn't know that.

I did hear something here and there, swore it was from Tron, and I thought it had a good cyber-warfare feel and sound to it in certain places, very Tron like.

that awful movie should not be associated with Tron in any way ever.

First post here, had to because I saw this thread.
On the blu-ray, it's at 1:28:22. No doubt at all that this is the sound of someone geting derezzed. Couldn't believe it at first, and yes, I agree that to place Tron and G.I. Joe in the same sentence is a crime against nature. I'm just glad I only paid $2 for the rental. Wouldn't have paid a penny more.

Heard it too. I replayed it a couple of times to make sure.
This movie is, by far, the best movie ever made based on a Hasbro product.

Me being the sound effect aficionado, I rented G. I. Joe from Blockbuster to hear it myself and lo and behold, there it was. Some sound effect editor must be a big Tron fan.
