Ok, it was really weird how well "Bad" fir to the Ghostbusters theme. And the GB game looks pretty cool.
I still love that film. I think it holds it's own today. One of the greats. And the theme is on my phone (MP3 player). Gotta hit the GB theme from time to time. I mean, who you gonna call?

Yours truly back in 1993 - the last time I really dressed up for Halloween. I've posted the image here before, but I figured some newer members might enjoy it. I loved playing with makeup effects and trying to perfect my methods. I loved dressing up. I loved having the free time to do that kind of thing. I miss it.
I went to a bar that evening and ended up dancing with a woman dressed up like Elvira. At one point my bladed glove got caught in her wig and almost yanked it off. It was rather amusing and embarrassing at the same time. And I hung out with a mummy most of the night. The guy was completely wrapped up in mummy wrap, and wearing sun glasses... and had a mummy baby (not a real wrapped baby, just a stuffed mummy baby). Cool guy. Don't know his name. Didn't know Elvira's either. Did the Electric Slide with a bunch of strangers, who chanted me in to doing a solo dance, which I really can't dance so I made a complete ass of my self, but they seemed to love it. You can get away with a lot when you're a Nightmare on Elm Street embodied. Didn't win any costume contests, but had a great time.

To make the image appear on the right side, you need to use the img HTML tag instead of the forum image code.
This is the code I used:
[img src="http://www.website.com/image.jpg" align="right"]
Instead of brackets, use the HTML less than, greater than characters. The code should precede the text you want to appear next to it.

I spent weeks preparing the custom molded latex facial appliances (cheeks, nose, chin, forehead, back of head). I used to take great care and spend quality time doing that kind of thing. I really enjoyed it, or more accurately, I really enjoyed the outcome. It took about 3 hours to get all that stuff glued to my face, and the seems painted over and blended properly. Had to do it all myself. Not an easy task - especially applying it to my own head. I was always intrigued and fascinated with the art of illusion. Watched many behind the scenes of films to learn how it was done... long before the behind the scenes was just included with every DVD release. Back in the day, effects geeks like me actually had to go seeking that kind of thing. Interesting process, the whole makeup thing was. It was fun to dabble in.

I got to wear one of my costumes at work. Was so giddy about it because it was great looking and I was super comfortable in my costume.
It's the only time I can get away with cosplaying at work. :]

Anyways AWSOME video, I have the C64 version, it was ahead of its time back in the day. I loved that game so much that i just recently like 2 years ago purchased a C64 with a 1541 drive ( i already have the 1702 monitor) and a copy of ghostbusters, ARCHON, ARCHON2 and DRAGONS LAIR.. ARCHON is hands down the BEST C64 game ever made.. Its a shame why they never made a recent version of ARCHON.. With todays graphics, it would RULE!!!

I've got a C64 and a tape drive, but I'm still trying to get my hands on a 1541 drive. Not a 1541-II though, they just don't look cool enough!
