I love the emergency supply of beer underneath the desk. |
I hope those are empty bottles, otherwise all that beer is probably skunky as can be. "We are, after all, not God." - Cmdr. J. J. Adams "C is for cookie. That's good enough for me." - Cookie Monster "If money is the root of all evil, I'd like to be a bad, bad man." - Huey Lewis & the News

I still don't think you mentioned what the lotion was above the fan...anyway, here is the desk you should have for that room, should fit in that room nicely:

That one is better, however, when I went to purchase it, it was sold out. so, I had to get the other one instead.
I wanted a desk that would match the big door in Tron, however, no desk seems to compliment it very nicely.

It's a 'Saitek' P880... I've had it for a long time... works pretty good but I only use it for emulation. Everything else I use is the keyboard and mouse (sometimes my flight stick depending on the game)..... where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online |

Lol... would you like to know... lol... kidding.... It's really a soap bottle that was suppose to go into the bathroom next to my room, but I don't know why it's there. I'm a very negligent person when it comes to putting crap back.
Oh.. the beer bottles were full and new, but little do most people know is that commercial beer doesn't really age or expire the way people think. I drank a case of year-old budwiser once and it tasted the same as if new. However, that beer was bought a week ago and I drank it the other nite... |

I think I know why and remeber dealing with it when we had a couple of machines where I used to work running with the older amd k6-2 cpu'S. wINDOWS 95 was never really tested in a k6-2 cpu because it was literally a Risc processor running and translates the x86 instruction into something that a risc based Architectures could used and then went with it. From the AMD K6-2 on up to today's AMD CPU's they are all Risce based processors instead of being CISC based processors like Intel's line of processors. a way to get around this problem was to go to the knowledge base of Microsoft and download a patch that they had for it Once you install it windows 95 would work with the cpu tha your using there qixx.
and before i forget here is the link that I was looking at for the amd k6-2

To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.

I believe you're right.... it's an Intel machine though, but I do believe that since it's a much much newer system than the 95 days, it is thinking that the hardware is damaged somehow cause it kept coming up with protection errors and such...
But win98se works great. I need to find a firewall for it.... that isn't going to be an easy task..
BTW: Thanks for the link... |

Obviously you know that I was seriously pissed about this game.
They dumbed down the gameplay to about console-level, which sucked. A large part of the allure of I'76 was the depth of the customization feature which allowed the player to tailor their car to their style of play.
They let you get out of the car. Let me say that again: They let you get out of the car. This was the almost the worst part of the game for me.
The worst part of the game for me was definitely the snarky plot that portrayed your favorite President and mine as a senile old fool bent on conquest. Is there any doubt that the socialist liberals have an almost unbreakable death-grip on all forms of media and entertainment in this country? Not in my mind there isn't. Bingo... I couldn't have said it better myself...
Going back and playing this game after all these years was rather painstaking. They even broke their own rule.. "NEVER GET OUT OF THE CAR"....
Outside of Regan being portrayed as the evil 'Mr. Big'... They also destroyed Groove's character. Taurus rocked and it was cool to play him as a character but some of his slick lines from I'76 seemed to be rather cheezy in I'82.
They should have stayed outside of Las Vegas. The engine made LV look like a small town and they were trying way too hard in pulling off something that just wasn't going to work.
One plus, however, was that some missions you can go under ground like in the Mine and Sewer level.. but despite that concept working, it just didn't seem to work well enough and sometimes became a little too disorientating at times.
I HATE THE FACT THAT THEY DROPPED THE 76 INTERFACE. I liked it much better when you could see which part of your car was being damaged in the old layout and I how it added a unique feel to the game. It worked so well before, but they dropped it from I'82.... big mistake.
They should have just kept the old engine, made gfx improvements, stayed in the 70's, kept the characters as competent heroes, and made more traditional funk music.
But.. I won't sell the soundtrack too short. I did like the music and to hear DEVO's "Modern Life" at the install with the cool artwork was really nice. It doesn't compare to the cool funk music from before, but it was ok. They should have stuck with the original plan of I'77 and it could have became a really awesome retro style franchise. I mean, the Nitro Pack was really awesome and even though it was more of an expansion pack, it worked pretty good (and you could play Jade and Skeeter... and even a Creeper).
I wished I could buy the rights to the game from Activision and gather a group of talented developers. I'd keep it classic, keep it 70's, keep the characters 76, and I would never get political...... and I would bring back the funk.
As far as I'm concerned, I'82 never happened. |

Yeah, what was up with making Groove into a loser? Weak.

Yes, you are right. The engine didn't lend itself to portraying a cityscape and they should've realized it and stuck with the desert.
