Yeah, I think maybe the kid at the beginning was supposed to be playing Pong, but then they decided to go with lightcycles at the end.
Also, Sark is not red in that scene. Kinda interesting.

[explanation]In very very very early production, TRON was originally yellow, and the MCP was rainbow colored (like the tunnel that TRON, Flynn, and Yori pass through on the Solar Sailer before reaching the MCP). Then it was later changed to red for the good guys and blue for the bad guys. Then, at the last minute, it was changed to red for bad guys and blue for good guys.

That trailer is awesome.
It makes one wonder how the movie would have turned out of they had stuck with their original plans (the color schemes, the deleted scenes).

If you listen closely during the lightcycles footage, you can hear the deleted Wendy Carlos track behind the trailer's music.
