I heard the famous lightcycle sound effects in the Star Wars/Dune parody " The Ice Pirates". Apparently, Frank Serafine (who worked on TRON as well as this movie) "borrowed" the lightcycle sound effects from his own sound effect library for this film. Pretty funny, eh?
Unfortunately, I can find clips of the movie on YouTube to show ya guys.

My brother still has my 'Ice Pirates' DVD... He better give it back or I'm gonna beat him up... or tell mom.... lol..

You are correct - I recall reading an old archived article on Wendy Carlos' website talking about how Frank Serafine got some of the sound effects for TRON using everyday objects. where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

Ah, The Ice Pirates! I actually have it on DVD... I need to watch it again to catch the sound effect.
