I'm a little surprized that no one has mentioned Robots seeing as how there are nothing but robots in it!

Little know fact:
The computer system HAL was supposed to be a tounge-in-cheek reference to IBM, H,A, and L being the preceeding letters, respectively.
An no I didn't make that up.

In the midst of Team Fortress 2:
TRON.dll: (Captures the intelligence) "I have take the intelligence and it will cause meltdown!"

According to Arthur C. Clarke, it means Heuristically programmed ALgorithmic computer. But I think you are right.

From Wikipedia:
Although it is often conjectured that the name HAL was based on a one letter shift from the name IBM, this has been denied by both Clarke and 2001 director Stanley Kubrick. In 2010: Odyssey Two, Clarke speaks through the character of Dr. Chandra, who characterized this idea as: "tter nonsense! [...] I thought that by now every intelligent person knew that H-A-L is derived from Heuristic ALgorithmic".

There are 10 kinds of people: Those who understand trinary and those who don't. And those who confuse it with binary.
