TRON.dll Wrote:Now, are we talking about the PC Battelzone remakes? I have the original Battelzone PC remake, but I think all of the online MP servers are down.

It was pretty neat (I particularly liked the first level the most), except for the fact that it had, like, absolutely nothing to do with the original arcade game visually and gameplay wise.

All of the Activision servers went down a long time ago, but there were still a few fan-run servers out there at least up until a couple of years ago. I downloaded a modified config file in order to connect to their servers and managed to get into a game; however, I was a n00b and they smacked the crap out of me like I was a mouse in a lion's den. That was the last time I tried that.

Personally, I love how they took the basic idea of Battlezone and expanded it into the game they created. The opening sequence shows the connection between the arcade game and the PC game perfectly, in my opinion.

The Red Odyssey Mission Pack intro:

Battlezone II intro:

"We are, after all, not God." - Cmdr. J. J. Adams
"C is for cookie. That's good enough for me." - Cookie Monster
"If money is the root of all evil, I'd like to be a bad, bad man." - Huey Lewis & the News

Most recent PC game collection update: 04/12/2012. Check it out!

I said something about this to my dad, who replied talking about this book that was supposed to be what Hitler would've written if he hadn't become a political figure of any kind and instead was a pulp-sci fi writer.

I forgot what it was called...

but first thought was 'are they basing this off that? '

"As an online discussion continues, the probability of a comparison involving Hitler or the Nazis becomes 1.

We did it better in Battlezone PC!

That promo looks like a poorly thought out video game idea.

What's with the guy on the motorcycle? It looks like a normal combustion style motorcycle. Crappy.

Some interesting concepts in there, but the thin that really annoyed me was the bird pooping on the statue. Dumb.

The thing that annoys me in the trailer... the road at the curve isn't generated, so the guardrale floats right at the camera pan to the complex. Guess the guy on the bike is in for a suprise one he rounds the curve.where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

Bear in mind this movie still in pre-production, so this is probably something they threw together one rainy afternoon to give us ataste of what it's like.
