Wii freindly version
I tried..
I succeded!
 .dll IS VICTORIOUS!
Anyways, back on topic...
This guy had better be a playable character, or else I will be madder (is that a word?) at Nintendo than Sony was at Bleemcast back in 2001.
Story behind that: Bleemcast was a PS1 emulator for Dreamcast. Sony got furious and eventually sued them into oblivion.
Still though, this guy's very PRESENCE in the game is just awesome. If were in the game, these would be his moves:
A button moves of course are punches.
B left/right: Throws disk
B down: Disk block
B up: Does a very high jump
B standard: Rezzes in LC and rides to other end of stage, damaging other players on the way.
FINAL SMASH: Summons the power of the users to bring a giant Recognizer out of the sky, killing all opponents.
THAT WOULD BE FREAKING AWESOME!!!
Even if he isn't in the game, Brawl will still rock, just... not as much....

What the?...
*checks image again*
What?
I'm a big Nintendo fan, but, I can't tell who that guy is.
Apparently, this was part of a BIG leak that happened today. Lots of secret characters have been revealed as well as new levels.

It's not Tron.
That does not say Tron at all. (If the File Archives was working, I'd link you guys to the Japanese Tron poster and you can compare the obvious katakana character differences in that.)
"Tabuu" (Looks like he's from a game called Tarot... might be Japan-Only)
Tron uses "Torun" if I'm remembering right.
And even if he was Tron, I'd be wondering why he's murky looking rather than very crisp-looking like he does in the movie and Kingdom Hearts 2.
Sorry, guys. I don't think Nintendo would have made such a deal with Disney.

I don't think it's supposed to be , and I agree with TronFAQ. Here's some homages to in other video games:
Metroid Prime 2 has an area inspired by , including a computer terminal that says "End of line" when scanned.
Shadow the Hedgehog has a computer-themed stage, where you must steal permission keys from the enemy and gain access into a high security area.
The "Battlefeild" and "Final Destination" stages in Super Smash Bros. Melee have background videos that occasionally resemble the wormhole sequence from .
I've seen many references in video games, and to have one in Brawl as a character resembling (not neccessarily ) is good enough for me.
(of course, we all know that 's being in the game would be equally awesome )

...I said the character was in a video game before. X_x
He probably already looked like that in the previous game ("Tarot") and I have no idea if Tarot ever made it here.
He really doesn't look very Tronish to me. Just like, a humanoid looking jelly/slime.
I'm not even sure if it's an actual homage at all to be honest. I just really wanted to clear up any misconceptions here.

KiaPurity is right. He is from another game.
Taboo: The Sixth Sense
Apparently this "Taboo" dude is the FINAL boss in SSBB's Subspace Emissary adventure mode. I don't know if he's a playable character.
But what really makes this character interesting, is that this guy is from a game by former-Nintendo company RARE. Nintendo must have done a licensing deal with Rare or something to have him in the game.
But, after finding this information...I have one question:
Why?
Why the hell would Nintendo pick such an obscure character from a video game that's not even from Nintendo's library? let alone pick a character from a game that was considered controversial.
Besides, the guy doesn't even have circuitry on his body.
EDIT:
One thing has occurred to me though...
...what if this Taboo guy is a coincidence? I mean, maybe the guy's name just happened to be Taboo and people automatically thought he was from a game.
After all, all bosses from the entire SSB series are original characters, right?

I don't care, Brawl will still be awesome.
Maybe Taboo was somewhat inspired by TRON?
He still looks frickin' cool, though.
If you recall, Nintendo said they would have Snake and 1 to 2 other 3rd party characters in the game. Sonic was one, and I don't know if Taboo could be considered the second one. At the time (1988 ), Rare was owned by Nintendo. They weren't bought by Sata... erm, Microsoft until sometime around 2002 or whenever the XBOX came out.
Fun, useless, random (yet somewhat on topic) trivia: Rareware's last console game for Nintendo was the poorly recieved "Star Fox Adventures" for Gamecube. Most of Rareware's titles for Gamecube were either moved to the XBOX (i.e. Grabbed by the Goulies) or canceled (i.e. Donkey Kong Country Racing). Microsoft still allows Rare to develop for Handheld systems like GBA and DS.where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

I wouldn't say Rare was a third party in the past when that game came out in 1988, though.
They *may* be now... but still, all nintendo's characters that were in Rare games are still pretty much first party: Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong (Donkey Kong existed before in his own game in the 80's. Diddy Kong made his first appearance in Donkey Kong Country which was a Rare game.)
Also, um, inspirited by Tron... how? I said Taboo looked like a gelatinous being rather than electronic to me. ^^; Maybe it would be easier to tell if there was a clip of Taboo in action, perhaps?order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill

In the second clip when Taboo's face is shown close up, there are lines swirling around in his face... that does look a bit electronic, yeah.
Still hard to tell though, augh. But that's alright, really.

I saw a vid of Tabuu once, and I believe it had absolutely nothing to do with that character..
Anyways, I beat Tabuu today and it was extremely awesome. Funny thing, my freind sent me a message today saying:
Dude, TRON is in brawl!!! In Subspace emmisionary, there is a guy that floats in the air and takes out master hand! He's glowing and shining and has the helmet and everything! Check it out!
