Well, we're slightly ahead of the rest of the world here in Oz - no suprises there.
The final day has set country wide for us to usher in the new year.
And as another year passes, again comes around the question, will this be the year that Tron finally resurfaces to claim it's rightful place amongst movie classics?
Will this be the year we finally see a sequel to Tron 2.0?
Could we actually see a whole new movie that brings credit to our group obsession?

Really? I normally stay up till 3 AM. Well, when I'm on break, that is...
 
I believe that we will not see a TRON sequel this year, as the movie websites have that down as 2009/2010.
I do, however, believe that sometime late this year we will see a trailer for the next TRON movie. I am an official shareholder of the Walt Disney Company, so I should be getting a shareholder's annual report sometime soon in the mail. There could possibly be something about this new TRON movie in there, but considering it's not coming out this year, I won't get my hopes up. 
However any interesting info in there related to TRON may be "Convinently" posted here.
Last year's report had some big poster filled with concept art for a NEW THEME PARK!! Unfortunately, that was it. 5 hand drawn images and nothing else. One was entitled "Toy Story Mania", which is now being constructed at Disney's California Adventure. Another was entitled "Carland", which seemed to be a new themed area based off of the Radiator Springs town seen in Cars.
