Hey everybody,

I've been away for a while being hassled by the real world (damn you, real world!), but I'm back now and I've made a couple of funny short videos in the meantime.

The first video is less than a minute long. It's called Hangman, and it's about a guy who can hang himself and defy the laws of physics all at the same time. I'm the guy on the left, my friend Tom is on the right.



The second video, The Film-Noir Bar, is a parody of classic black and white film-noir movies, and is about... erm... actually, I'm not too sure! I'm the wine-connoisseur guy, and my friend Tom is the 'Italian'-ish waitor. Apologies in advance for my awful American accent.



Both of those films were shot in one day a few weeks back.

Dig your "bad American accent" in the second video. I started laughing out loud when you actually spoke about your bad American accent in the video, because I didn't notice it much until you said it. You see, you sounded pretty close to what I'm used to hearing, in terms of accents! All accents sound like accents, except for the one that individuals are most accustomed to. So in my case, your bad accent was a lot like loosing most of your English accent! While not perfect and meant to be overly dramatic in that style, you did it well. Many years ago I, used to work with a woman who was from England. We used to practice saying the childhood rhyme Marry Had A Little Lamb in each other's accents. It would crack us up pretty good as we'd get better at each other's accents. For the record, I'm not that good at a British accent these days. For some reason, I slip in to a Scottish accent when I try. Then I'm tempted to say something like "She can't take much more of this, captain!"

So how many decks of cards did you have to crack open for all those aces? I'm guessing only the ones that showed were the real aces, but that was still a lot of aces!

And you provided the musical score yourself - very nice touch!

I enjoyed watching both videos, especially the first one. It's really cool to hear you did the music in the second one by yourselves.

As for the American accent, it really wasn't that bad. Like TheReelTodd said, I didn't really think about it or notice it until you pointed it out in the video.

Your American accent has to be better than my English accent. LOL. I'm sure listening to that would crack you up.
